“Ox and I are talking about adopting,” CeCe interjected.“We know there are so many in the system waiting to find their forever homes, and seeing you and Chaos with Darby and Lorcan is such an inspiration,” she told Indi.

There was a bit more random chit chat before they finished, paid their tab, and wandered through more shops.
So far, Sophia hadn't bought anything simply because nothing had really caught her eye.Then she saw it.A deep scarlet corset top trimmed in black with black fixtures.There was just one left and it was her size.Without hesitation, Sophia took it off the rack.It would go great with anything black.
She wandered a bit more and found a black pleated miniskirt that would hit her mid-thigh.All she needed now was the perfect pair of thigh highs.
Just as she was giving up hope, she found them.They were ebony black with a black lace trim at the top and in the front center of the lace was a blood red gemstone.

Sophia felt her cheeks heating and knew she was blushing.“No, but if the opportunity presents itself…”
She felt Rose watching her and fought the urge to squirm.“What is it?”

Sophia huffed out a breath.“Once.It lasted maybe five minutes, and I never really understood the hype.Granted, we were both only fifteen—and yes, I know, that was young—but maybe that's why it was so lackluster.”
