She laughed and leaned over and kissed him. Then she kissed Finley. “I call dibs on the shower,” she said and crawled out of bed.
The hot water eased achy muscles and by the time she got out, she was ready to face the day. While Finley jumped in the shower, she got dressed. Then it was Zaine’s turn.
“We'll get breakfast after we go to Soulstone,” Zaine said as they packed up. Sorcha had ordered a car while Zaine was in the shower and it would be there soon.
“Sounds like a plan,” Finley said. He pulled Sorcha into his arms and kissed her. “Despite our reason for being here, I've enjoyed our little trip.”
“So have I,” she replied. She grabbed her bag and they headed downstairs to check out.
They arrived at The Soulstone a few minutes after it opened and stepped inside.
“Good morn,” Nova said when they entered.
“Good morn,” Sorcha replied. “Please tell me you have the wormwood,” she said.
“Och A’course I do. I said I would,” Nova replied.
“Thank Goddess,” Sorcha said.
Nova set a small bag on the counter and Sorcha paid for it. She also put in an order for more to be shipped. “Pleasure doing business with you,” Nova told her. “I'll get your order shipped this week.”
“Thank you. It was nice to put a face to the name,” Sorcha said, taking the bag and storing it in her overnight bag.
“Have a safe flight home,” Nova told them and they left.
They found a little cafe that served breakfast and grabbed a bite to eat. Then they wandered around Glasgow for a couple of hours.
“We should be getting to the airport to get checked in,” Zaine said.
“And our little vacation is over,” Sorcha said with a sigh.
“Finley kissed her temple. “It was fun while it lasted.”
“Yeah, it was. We made some great memories,” Sorcha replied.
“That we did, Angel,” Zaine put in. They caught a cab to the airport, and soon they were seated at their gate waiting for their flight to be called.
They had a brief layover in London, then their ten-hour flight home.
“The time difference between Scotland and home is crazy,” Sorcha said as they disembarked to darkness. It was the middle of the night in Briar Glen.
“Yeah it is,” Finley agreed. “Zaine, I'll drop you off first,” he added.
“Sounds good. I'm going to miss sleeping with our girl, but I'm ready to hit the sack,” Zaine replied.
“I know what you mean, I'm going to miss it too,” Finley replied as they reached the SUV.
“I'm going to miss sleeping between the two of you. We should definitely do it again sometime soon,” Sorcha said.
When they got to Zaine’s house, he hopped out and opened Sorcha’s door. He leaned in and kissed her. “Sweet dreams, Angel. Dream of me,” he told her.
“Oh, I will,” she replied and caressed his cheek. “I'll text you in the morning after I get up,” she promised.
“You better, or I'll have to turn that sweet ass red,” he told her.
“Oh, promises, promises,” she replied.
Zaine laughed. “You're perfect, Angel. Get our girl home safe,” he told Finley.
