“You’ll see.”
Later on, everyone in this damn city who needed to would.
Chapter 20:
Concealed wasn’t really a place that Flix frequented, and it certainly wasn’t a place he’d ever performed at, but he drove them there without hesitation, mind made up.
The voyeur and exhibitionist club also acted as a high-end restaurant, and was owned by one of the prince’s people, Pavel Hart. Some of the Brumal raved about the place, and the in-person entertainment along with the upper-class clientele meant for stricter security measures. There were different levels to the building, as well as various rooms broken up by categories such as themes and comfort zone.
“Can I take this off now?” Ani asked from the passenger seat, picking at the thick white blindfold Flix had made him put on before getting into the car.
“No.” He wasn’t sure if Aneski had ever visited Concealed, but it wouldn’t be a stretch to believe he at least knew of it. Considering Ani was a part of the sex scene, what with his business with the Seaside. “Keep it on.”
“At least tell me where we’re going,” he sighed.
“We’re already here.” Flix pulled into the underground lot and parked in one of the VIP spaces. “Ground rules, Tiny Terror.”
“But this is it, right?” he asked. “I do everything you tell me to tonight, and you promise you won’t put me back there?”
“In my bed?” he snorted. “Oh, you’re for sure going back there.”
“Flix.”
“All right. Jokes aside, yeah. That’s the deal. No more chains so long as you’re good for me.”
“I mean…” Ani turned his face away, mumbling, “I didn’t say I don’t like chains.”
Flix chuckled. “You’re in luck then, because where I’m taking you, there will be plenty of things to tie you up with.”
Aneski perked up, but it was hard to tell, with the blindfold on, whether it was out of curiosity or concern. “Where are we?”
“Ground rules,” Flix repeated, purposefully ignoring the question. “You speak to no one else but me. Even if they try to get your attention. No matter who it is. Understood? If you break this rule, I’ll take it as a sign I can’t trust you after all.”
He was clearly suspicious but ended up nodding his head curtly.
“Next, you do exactly as I say, no questions asked.”
“I won’t kill anyone I can’t see,” Ani stated.
Flix snorted. “Relax, baby, we aren’t here for murder.”
“What are we—”
“I said no questions.”
Ani grew silent and then said, “You’re going to fuck me, aren’t you.”
Flix let his silence speak for itself.
“…In front of people?” Aneski held himself perfectly still, waiting.
He hadn’t wanted to tell him in case Ani would oppose, but now that it was out, he tried to come up with the best wayto explain without alluding to the fact he’d seen those texts from Yuze and Gannon.
“I’m not against it,” Ani took pity on him and said first. “I fuck people on film for a living, remember? Although, I guess that’s different than doing it to an audience…Are we at Concealed?” He turned to face Flix’s direction better. “Please tell me it’s at least going to be in a controlled setting, and you’re not just going to, like, screw me in front of your friends or something?”
Flix scrunched his nose. “What are you imagining right now, Tiny Terror?”
“I mean, this could be the Void Manor and—”
