Again.
His muscles clenched in protest just thinking about it.
“I already have you where I want you,” Kelevra said. “The official announcement will broadcast by the time we wake in the morning, and then the whole planet will know you’re spoken for. You’re already mine, Flower. I won’t hurt you if you don’t give me a reason to.”
“Liar.” Although, there’d been pain, yes, but it was almost always followed swiftly by intense pleasure. Kelevra knew how to keep him dancing on the edge, pulling him back just before he was about to fall too far over the side.
“It’s arousing,” Kel offered, “seeing you angry, watching that spark come alive. I like knowing I’m seeing something few people get to. Even from the beginning, you’ve let me in, accidentally or not. You exposed your true self to me, and of course, I covet it. Covet you.” He stalked forward, keeping Rin frozen in place with the dark promise in his gaze.
“I know this is sudden, Flower, but you’ll adjust. You’re good at that, aren’t you? Adapting. I can tell. That’s how you’re able to play people so easily. But not me. You can’t lie to me. Maybe I didn’t before. But I do now. I see you.” He was close, almost to the side of the bed where Rin was still sitting, still as a statue. “More importantly, I see my name written all over your skin. See it in the way you look at me. The way you arch into my touch even as you’re cursing and spitting mad. You may not be a doll or a toy, but you’re right about one thing. I do own you. You are mine. Correction, two things. You called me a Devil, and I am a Devil, sweetheart. I’m the worst kind of devil. Do you know why?”
Kelevra was standing between his legs now, leaning in to speak directly against the curve of Rin’s ear. “I’m not like Baikal, all devious and patient. No. I’m forthright, and I’m overeager. I’ll have you branded and conceding, even if I have to actually cripple you to make it so. I don’t play. I take.”
When his fingers captured Rin’s chin, the spell broke and he tried to pull away, only to find himself dragged off the bed and tossed over Kelevra’s shoulder like he weighed about the same as the t-shirt he was rested over. The carefully spoken and not-so-thinly veiled threats pinged inside of his head as he was carried into the bathroom, stunning him into momentary silence.
Kel dropped him back to his feet in front of the clawed tub that was large enough to fit two grown men easy, but only so he could strip Rin’s clothes off. Then he was lifting him all over again, settling him into the heated water and lowering his body until he had Rin resting with his back against the porcelain.
It wasn’t until the Imperial Prince was moving around him, settling on a stool positioned behind him that Rin realized at some point he must have taken the half-empty teacup from his hand all without him noticing.
Since when was Rinthatinattentive? He could walk into his dorm, see his desk lamp slightly askew, and instantly tell that Daylen had been messing with his things.
Kelevra stretched his arm over Rin’s shoulder, dipping his fingers in the water to test it as he shut off the tap. His other hand trailed up the length of Rin’s neck, nails dragging slightly through the short hairs at the base of his skull. “Should I wash you, Consort?”
The words were breathed against Rin’s ear and for the life of him, he couldn’t come up with a single witty reply suitable enough, his mind still reeling over those other things he’d said.
“Is it happening again?” Kel asked quietly, a hint of displeasure entering his tone, even as his hand in the water continued to lazily spin circles over the surface. “What happened in the shower earlier?”
Rin gave the faintest shake of his head. This was different. He didn’t feel overwhelmed by emotion, and his fight or flight response hadn’t been activated, even though it most certainly should have been.
But hewasdrowning though.
Instead of anxiety or anger, it felt like he was choking on the Imperial Prince, much in the same way he’d been choked on his cock earlier. Rin had never been handled that savagely before. There’d been a few moments where he’d feared Kelevra intended to suffocate him for real. That he was literally going to experience death by dick. His chest had seized up, tears running down his face and…
It’d had him so hard he’d been seconds away from coming in his pants with no stimulation to his junk whatsoever.
Kelevra’s hands pulled away, returning a second later with a washcloth. He dipped it into the water and then began running it over Rin’s chest, gently scrubbing him. There wasn’t soap, but Rin got the impression he’d been cleaned back at Friction, since he hadn’t come to with any uncomfortable stickiness or dried come on his thighs. Any signs of the spunk that had been unloaded on his chest were already gone as well.
For all his huff and puff about not being interested in playing anyone, Kel was certainly doing a good job of it now.
“You’re pulling my strings,” Rin whispered, barely managing to get his voice to work that much for him. There was still something lodged there, something foreign and raw. The steam wafting up from the warm bath and the feel of the Imperial Prince’s body heat behind him doing a fine job of lulling him into a relaxed state of being that logically he knew he couldn’t afford.
Kel brought the cloth lower, disappearing beneath the water line as he rubbed it against Rin’s lower abs. “I’m trying to subdue you,” he confessed. “Is it working?”
“I’m too tired to fight,” he said. The lighting had been left low purposefully, and he peered around the expansive bathroom, taking in the glass shower stall in the corner and the immaculate gold and white marble double sink. “For a guy who’s never been interested in a serious relationship, you certainly ensured you’d have enough space for more than one person when you purchased this place.”
“Jealous?”
“No.” He wasn’t. Even if he did care about Kelevra having brought other people here to fuck before, it didn’t make a difference.
“Because you’re the only one I’ve ever wanted to make my consort?” Kel guessed.
“Because I don’t want you,” he stated, tensing as soon as the words were out.
Kelevra dragged the cloth lower, still at that same steady pace, but with a clear goal in mind this time.
Rin latched onto his wrist just before he could swipe over his dick. “Don’t.”
“Why not?” Kel shifted closer, settling his chin on Rin’s shoulder, his lips tickling the side of his neck. “If you don’t want me, why should I bother with this charade? Hmm? If it’s as you say, and I can’t win you over anyway, isn’t it smarter for me to cut my losses and simply use you the way I see fit?”
