“All right.” His hand moved to the center of Rin’s chest to keep him pinned as he dropped to his knees in front of Rin and licked his lips.

“Wait, that’s not what I meant. I didn’t meanthat!” Rin reached for Kelevra’s head, but Kel was quicker, dropping down over him and swallowing him to the root in one go. He sputtered and slammed his head back against the tree, a groan breaking free at the first feel of tongue tracing the vein at the underside of his cock.

Kel bobbed and sucked a couple of times before pulling off of him with a pop, a string of spit connecting his bottom lip and the flushed head as he grinned up at Rin. “Any better yet?”

He clenched his jaw, trying to find the words, but apparently that wasn’t the reaction the Imperial Prince wanted.

“Guess not. Let’s keep going until you feel better, shall we?”

“No—” Honestly, Rin wasn’t even sure why he was complaining anymore, not when the feel of Kelevra sucking him down felt so electrifying. That jittery feeling he’d had since the blaster shot had first fired was finally dimming too, lust slowly but surely washing his anger away until it was nothing more than a dull throb in the back of his mind.

Kel brought him all the way back until he bumped against his throat and then hummed.

Rin cried out and grasped a handful of his curly hair, holding on as if for dear life as he was worked into a frenzy. They could be caught at any moment, or shot at, or any number of other equally terrible things, and yet Rin’s dick didn’t seem to care. Not even a little. His hips started jutting forward, chasing after that wet heat whenever Kelevra pulled away, his balls already starting to draw up.

Then Kelevra wiggled a hand behind him, just barely breaching Rin’s tight hole, and that was enough.

Rin came so suddenly he was honestly shocked into silence, mouth hanging open as his lower half jerked into Kel’s mouth. The Imperial Prince continued to suck and lick him through it, that one finger teasing him but never fully entering.

He slumped forward when it finally ended, short of breath. Stars winked in and out of his vision, and if they’d been anywhere else, he would have given in and slunk to the floor.

Kelevra straightened him up, rising to his feet in the process. Tucking Rin away, he took his time redoing his pants, as though to give them both a moment to settle. When there was nothing else left for him to do, he met Rin’s gaze, taking in his expression carefully.

“You’re centered now,” he noted.

Rin didn’t bother denying that fact. He could think clearly again and his skin no longer felt like it was about to tear from his body. As far as grounding tools went, the Imperial’s mouth had arguably been one of the best he’d ever had, but while it made him feel better, it didn’t solve anything in the long run.

“We can’t just be this,” Rin covered his eyes with his forearm and heaved, trying to control his breathing. If they were going to spend a lifetime together, they couldn’t just be about sex. Helping him come down was one thing, but if Kelevra always tried to subdue him this way, eventually Rin would come to resent him for it. Yes, he enjoyed having his control taken away in the bedroom, but he needed to still be his own person at the end of it. “I need more.”

“Okay, sweetheart,” Kel said, no hesitation.

“I’m serious.”

“Okay.”

“Kelevra.” Rin dropped his arm and sucked in a breath when Kel immediately sealed their mouths together.

The kiss was hot, the flavor of musk and salt still on his tongue, as the Imperial speared it past his lips. It was both frantic and languid at the same time, a rotation of both, almost as though Kelevra couldn’t decide how he wanted to do it.

By the time he pulled away, they were both breathless all over again.

He brushed his fingers lightly through Rin’s hair and smiled at him. “Okay, sweetheart. I hear you. So,” he licked his chin, “forgive me now?”

Rin scoffed and shoved him away, straightening from the tree. “Come on. We’ve got to call this in.”

Kel grinned and fell into step at his side. “That means yes.”

“Whatever.”

It didn’t mean no…

Damn it. What the hell was he going to do now?

Chapter 28:

“She was definitely dead.” Rin rubbed at his temples, staring down at the empty space in front of the tree. There was an impression in the dirt, the only indicator that Nila had ever been there. “Bodies don’t just get up and walk away.”

“Someone moved her,” Kelevra agreed.
