I’m not exactly sure how to tell her this. Still, I suppose total honesty is the way to go, “Bel, I generally don’t have, uhhh, repeat customers, if you will. And period sex isn’t usually one-night stand stuff. It’s… full commitment, show me every ugly and beautiful part of you, completely vulnerable intimacy.”
“And that’s us?” she raises a brow, joking in a way that tells me she really needs the answer.
“That’s us, baby.” I kiss her again. “I want every part of you. The ones you’ve been taught to believe are wrong. The ones you’ve been told are ugly. The ones you’ve refused to show anyone else. I want them. Ineedthem.”
With both arms suddenly wrapped around my neck, she pulls me against her, licking into my mouth and fully captivating me. Every slide of our mouths together cements my body against hers further, lips never parting while I position myself on top of her and move our hips together.
She pauses her devastating kisses just long enough to pant out, “Fingers only this time.”
And I happily oblige, making an absolute god’s damned mess out of my girl, bringing her to ecstasy again and again until all the pain in her body is washed away on a sea of pleasure.
???
“She was supposed to be off limits,” Caspian chides me the next morning.
“I didn’t fuck her,” I hold up both hands in supplication, “I just made her feel better.”
After she couldn’t take anymore, she finally ate the dinner Caspian made before promptly passing the fuck out. Due to our… activities we are doing today, we didn’t have time for him to scold me last night; instead, he took the time to silently pack the things we need for our field trip.
“You’re lucky it made her sleep like a rock or I’d be kicking your ass right now,” he grins, knowing he’s full of shit. He’d never be mad at me for bringing her pleasure. “She said we need to leave around 6 so we’ve got ten minutes before we need to wake her. Do you want to pack up the car or make her coffee?”
“Coffee, obviously. Sucks that she’s going to be bleeding for our whole roadtrip though. She’s gonna be miserable.”
Caspian nods in thought, “This trip was going to be a colossal pain as it is. You’re certain we cannot convince Eamon to help us? Lighten the load, so to speak?”
“Absolutely not.” Just remembering his threat at Christmas has me shuddering, “And remember, we have to keep it from Isla. She stays out of it or Eamon is gonna chop us both to pieces.”
With his hands on his hips, he scoffs, “And what do you suppose Isla will do if she finds out we did this reconnaissance without her?”
“Hopefully, she will turn her rage on Eamon for demanding it,”Not likely.“Not me. I’ve been on the wrong side of her anger enough times.”
As he makes his way to our packed luggage, sending it to the car through theAether, I hear him snickering but choose to be the bigger man and ignore it.
“Hey, where’s my coffee?” he asks a few moments later, to which I shrug because I amcompletelyinnocent, “You fucker.” Heading to wake our girl, I leave him with a parting gift of one middle finger in the air behind me.
I can hear her snoring before I open the door, and I wish so much that I could allow her a few more moments of sleep before we have to drag her out of bed. But she wanted this done right now, and there was no changing her mind.
I place her sweetened coffee on the bedside table before climbing over her and nudging her cheek with my nose, “Bel, you gotta get up. I brought you caffeine.”
She groans and pushes my face away, “Nuh uh.”
I chuckle and try again, nuzzling her neck, pulling quiet giggles from her. Still, she resists, trying to roll over and escape me. But that just won’t do.
I heave a dramatic sigh, “I really tried to avoid this, my Songbird, but you’ve left me no choice.”
Finally, she cracks an eye open to peer at me, suspicion evident. We stare at each other for a moment, both of us wondering what it is that I’m going to do to wake her up. I can’t just drag her out of bed or take away her covers; that would be mean. If I tickle her, I risk getting kicked in places I’d rather not. I learned that the hard way last week.
Without taking my eyes from hers, I reach over to her coffee, slowly bringing it to my mouth, one eyebrow raised in challenge.
“Don’t you fucking dare,” she finally says.
There she is.“Well, I mean, ifyou’renot going to drink it, why should I let it get cold? That’s just wasteful, Belissenda,” I tsk at her.
She playfully glares at me, “Fine. Fine. I’m awake. Gimme.”
I lean forward and pucker my lips, an obvious request that she rolls her eyes at but grants. Just the smallest press of her mouth to mine, kickstarting my heart in a way nothing else ever has. No amount of danger, or pain, or fear has affected me this way before. I fear there may be something wrong with me. This cannot be a normal thing for someone to feel.
Finally relinquishing her drink, I watch her take her first sip, the small groan of ecstasy blurring my vision. This… obsession can’t be healthy.Perhaps I’m sick.
