“Dex,” I hiss. “Dex. It’s been too long. I’m…I’m going to come too fast.”

“Good, Janie. I want to feel you come around me,” he says, thrusting deeper. His hands reach up. They tangle through my hair and press in. His mouth is on mine, his tongue between my teeth and his movements become more hurried, primal. His lips slide to my throat, he’s kissing and biting at my neck and slamming into me.

I writhe and shudder. I’m pinned between the seat behind me and him, and the pressure builds and builds. “Oh, God, Dex, I’m…I…”

“Come on me. Fuck, yes.”

A warm fluttering wave of pleasure crashes through me. Coiling up like a firework and exploding out across every inch of my skin. He thickens inside me as I pulse and squeeze around him. His breathing falters and my name falls from his lips in an endless loop of whispers and moans until he shudders against me.

I sag against him, and he wraps me in his arms.

“See, Nash? I told you, you were going to miss my dick.”

Chapter 10

Annoying beeps and chirps vibrate and sing through my ears. I don’t want to open my eyes. My body feels too heavy, besides the light coming from the other side of my eyelids is dim. It’s too early. The sounds dull away and quiet, and I’m lying on a warm beach with a Malibu Sunrise in my hand. The ice cubes crack and snap as they melt in the fruity mixture. I think I’m at a tropical beach.

Good, I needed a vacation.

Again, those little electronic bells and tweets scream out, piercing through the cool breeze of the beach. I groan and roll over, feeling the cocooning warmth of a blanket over my body.

Damn it. I’m not at a beach on a vacation. I’m in my bed, dreaming.

I reach out and fumble for the alarm clock, clumsily feeling for the snooze button or anything to shut the sounds off. They’re horrible. What in God’s name was I thinking when I programmed those things into my phone?

My hand hits skin. Hot, hard, muscular skin.

Well, hello there.

I peel my eyes open, remembering.

Dex is snuggled next to me, his hand warm on my bare hip and me tucked into his chest. I haven’t woken up next to another person in years. I cuddle in closer, savoring the warmth of him all over me. I can’t help but slide my leg up over his, positioning us perfectly for another round of what we did in the car earlier this morning. I brush up against him until a low hum rattles in his throat and parts of his body are stirring awake.

Ah, yes. Jane Nash, sophisticated with a hint of slutty.

Dex smiles, his eyes still closed and his shaft thickening between us. I want to slip myself over him and have my way with his body. But before I can, he rolls over on top of me. “Mmm, that was a nice way to get woken up.”

The weight of his body on mine makes me feel drunk.

“Yeah?” I say, biting down on the bottom of my lip.

“Give me that lip,” he whispers, kissing at my mouth.

I part my legs and he pulls his head back, fixing his eyes on mine.

There’s something in his eyes, it’s the way he looks at me, that sets my body on fire. He leans on his elbow, shifting his weight to my thigh. There’s nothing between us. No latex, nothing to protect us. The smoothness of his shaft, the heat and weight of it against my aching lips makes me reckless.

“I’m not wearing any—”

“Have you ever been with anyone without one?” I ask. I’m on the pill. It’s just as good.

“Never.”

“Me neither,” I whisper.

“Tell me you want this. Tell me.” His voice cracks, full of emotion.

“I want this, Dex,” I sigh, slipping my hands up around his neck and pulling him against me.
