"You're not alone anymore," she stated. "If you go with Marcus, Macgrath, Callum, and I will meet you at his home. We'll answer any questions you have. And I hope you'll answer a few of mine."
I bit my lip. It was the first time I would be able to talk to someone about Rhiannon and what she had done to me. About Caleb and the nightmare I'd faced while I was trapped with them.
And I didn't have to worry about being thought of as insane.
"Please let us help you, Merry. You don't have to deal with this alone. Not anymore."
I looked up at Marcus and studied his face. He seemed as sincere as Ava.
They were letting me decide, which helped me make the decision.
"Okay. I'll go with Marcus."
Marcus' eyes brightened and for the first time since the insanity began, he smiled at me.
