I pressed play.
I watched the video through, then started over.
What I thought was the guy climbing into Aiden’s lap and kissing him was a drunk kid falling onto someone.
Backing the video up, I watched it again. This time, I focused on Aiden’s reactions instead of the guy’s actions.
Aiden’s face showed his surprise when the guy fell on him.
Aiden’s hands, when he pulled them from under the guy, pushed the guy away instead of taking advantage of the offer clearly on the table and pulling the guy close.
Aiden stood, dumping the guy on the floor. Not something you’d do if you wanted to get laid.
Aiden helped the guy up, but avoided his mouth when the guy tried kissing him again.
Before the video ended, it showed Aiden yelling at someone, but the music playing at the party was too loud for me to hear what he said.
I sat down on the sofa in the sitting area. Hawk jumped up next to me, his head landing in my lap. “Looks like I’m gonna owe Aiden an apology when he gets here, buddy.”
Propping my feet up on the coffee table, I texted Will back, having forgotten to do so in my panic.
Sasha Storm
Looks like they’re in the dorms. At least they’re not out at a fraternity house where they’d have to drive.
Will Grigor
I didn’t take you for an optimist.
Sasha Storm
I have my moments.
Will Grigor
Sasha Storm
I didn’t realize you were an asshole.
Will Grigor
I have my moments.
Was that flirting?
Will Grigor
Sorry. That was inappropriate.
I’m out with my brother, and I’m a flirt when I’ve been drinking.
It was flirting. Holy shit. My gaydar failed me there. I would’ve sworn Will was straight.
Sasha Storm
No worries. Whereare you guys?
Will Grigor
