“Not to mention me setting him up a fund so that he can grease palms.I’m not even sure how that would work.Do you just tell the person in charge of your funds that you want to bribe someone with money from your account?I don’t know where his mind is most of the time.He admitted to watching shows about prison life and that some of the things he was thinking were true.I don’t know.I suppose he could be right, but I’m not going to help him.”She looked at Kahana when he stole another carrot.“Do you suppose someone will make him their bitch, and all the money in the world wouldn’t help him.I kind of hope that’s what happens.That he learns the hard way what it’s like to bully people around like he’s done his entire life.”
Kahana laughed and laughed.She didn’t know what was so funny, but smiled at his getting such a kick out of whatever she said.As she finished up the last of her treat, she put the plate in the sink and took his hand into hers.It was time that they had a conversation about the doctor, and she didn’t want to do it in front of the cook.
Taking him to his office, she sat across from him in one of the big chairs and told him everything that had happened at the office.Her blood pressure was at an all-time low, and her blood work had come back all normal.Then she told him what he’d said about them having sex.

“Will you marry me?As soon as it can be arranged?”She told him she’d marry him today if it were possible.“Good.I have a ring for you.I was going to take you with me when I went to pick it out, but I saw this one and knew it was perfect for you.”
