“You did?” They pulled into the hotel parking lot, and he found a spot not too far from the door.

“Yeah, while you guys were looking at the blow up drunk Santa. I told him it wasn’t his business if Davis was chasing after Luna. He said he’s just trying to protect everyone’s feelings.”

Grant got out and went around to open her door. “Maybe Hudson isn’t the worst guy on the planet, but not liking Davis because he likes Luna is just odd.”

“He agreed with me, so maybe he’ll think about what I said.” She leaned into his side as they made their way up the sidewalk. They could see their breath every time they exhaled.

“You fit right in, don’t you, sweetheart?”

“I would love to think so.”

They walked hand in hand into the hotel, rode up the elevator, and went to their room. As soon as the door closed behind them, Grant pushed her against it.

“I believe you owe me something,” he growled, and leaned in to bite her neck.
