I smiled, having too much fun. “I don’t know, I’m not an expert. Maybe you should try it and tell me what it’s lacking.” I half expected him to turn my offer down, but he didn’t.
Instead, Haze grinned and leaned back in his chair. “Only if you feed it to me.”
I felt a bolt of electricity between my legs as I stood. Haze watched me closely while I leaned forward and dipped the brownie into his cum, completely soaking it. He followed my every move as I walked around the table and stopped behindhim. My gloved fingers grazed along his arm as I raised my hands to his chin and forced his head back. “Open up, big brother.” He grinned and opened his mouth wide, extending his tongue. But instead of simply dropping it into his mouth, I placed the cumsoaked brownie into my own, and chewed.
Haze grabbed my face and pulled my mouth to his as I spit the saliva and cumsoaked brownie into his mouth. He swallowed and then kissed me, tasting the dessert as we kissed some more. I slowly broke free from his lips and pulled away, smiling as I returned to my seat.
“Well?” I asked as I cleaned my fingers.
Haze used his thumb to clean the smeared brownie from the corner of his mouth, licking away the crumbs while he watched me. “You’re right. Not as good as mine.” He grinned before taking another sip of champagne. I chuckled to myself, both amused and turned on by the idea of him swallowing his own cum. He motioned to the many plates before us. “You should eat. You’re going to need all the energy you can get for what I have planned for you. Especially since we’re staying here tonight.”
“Here?” I nearly dropped my glass. “But, how? And what about Kush?”
He leaned back and smiled. “Aiden’s taking care of Kush. And as for The Green Goddess, well, it’s many things…including a full luxury hotel. Felix booked us a suite.”
“Fucking Felix.” I smiled.
Haze shook his head and laughed as well. “Fucking Felix.”
Haze picked at the food as I ate. We talked for what felt like forever, enjoying the night. It felt perfect, until I noticed his smile fade away.
“What is it?” I asked, drinking my champagne.
He played with the silverware in front of him as he smoked his vape. “I haven’t been completely honest with you, Indi.”
Fuck. Now what?
He exhaled. “You see, when Felix took me in…well, I kind of had to make a choice. Though, it didn’t really feel like one at the time.”
I made a face. “What kind of choice?” I asked.
Haze played with his vape. “The only way Felix could really help me out was if I chose to join Charlotte’s Web. I would have told him to fuck off, but he explained it further, and one of the reasons I agreed, was you.” His eyes lifted and met mine. “So, in exchange for protection for you, I joined.” My body froze as he looked at me, waiting for some kind of response. “Indi? Did you hear me?”
I tried to gather my thoughts. “I’m sorry, did you say you joined Charlotte’s Web? Like, as in the whole underground illegal network thing?” He nodded. “Haze. What the fuck?” He didn’t speak as I tried to process what he said. “So you and Felix both work for this…illegal network? Why?”
He exhaled a cloud of smoke. “Because it was the only way to keep you safe.”
And we’re back to that.
Haze leaned forward. “Indi, if there was any other way to protect and keep myself from being locked up, I would’ve found it. But there isn’t. Charlotte’s Web offers protection for the both of us. Being a member gives me an unlimited amount of resources, available whenever I need them. The apartment, the cars, the bikes, your phone and safety? It’s all thanks to them. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of that on my own.”
“But at what cost?” I asked.
His jaw tightened. “No cost is too great when it comes to you, Indi. As long as I do what's asked of me, I can protect you.”
So that’s why he had to leave. It wasn’t because he wanted to, but because he had to.
I tilted my head. “What is it you do for Charlotte’s Web?”
He shrugged. “Mostly reconnaissance. They seem to like how good I am at stalking people.” He smirked. “Interrogation is another thing I help with, but there’s only been a few times when I’ve had to do it. Apparently I struggle with self-control.” He rolled his eyes and took a large hit from the vape. “Hell, my job is better than Felix’s.” He coughed.
“What does Felix do?” I asked curiously.
Haze sighed. “The same thing he did in the military. He kills people.”
My heart sank at the idea of my older brother killing someone. Sure, he’d mentioned it before, but I really never thought anything of it. Until now.
“Is that why you brought me here? To tell me what you’re doing? To show me?”
