He’d left the pathetic human with a threat: Come near Skylar, her employees, or her café again, and he’d rip his dick from him and shove it down his throat.

Then he’d returned, knuckles bloodied from Larry’s face and his own skin splitting, humming from the thrill. Skylar had been annoyed with him over it, but the little sparkle in her eye that revealed she felt so much safer had been enthralling. Whether she meant to or not, she’d rewarded him with the sloppiest, hottest blowjob that night, inadvertently making him want to find someone else who bothered her that he could pummel to see if she’d do it again.

His smirk grew more devious by the second.

Skylar shifted again, pressing her body against him, and her leg drew up his thigh. Her knee knocked into the raging erection in his pants – she’d bought him proper clothes that fit him – and she froze. Her fingers gripped the sides of her book tighter until she was close to crinkling the cover, but she didn’t pull it away.

He was horny. He wasalwayshorny around her.

Vorg silently chuckled, which made her smack her book against his chest. How can I not be hard with such an exquisite creature sprawled on top of me?She was asking too much if she wanted him to not be vibrating with want.

He’d spent his long life without her or even a meagre slice of lust, affection, or love. Now that he had it, he coveted it deeply to the point of feverish intensity.

Vorg was content.

As was Skaarvar, who had grown a little belly with all the treats she snuck him. Currently he lay on an ornate armchair, his long body twisted into a ‘U’ shape as he slept like the dead with arms, legs, and wings splayed. Vorg often had to fight with the little skowl for her lap if he took on other duties within the house.

Since his woman liked to skip meals and not take care of herself adequately, he’d taken it upon himself to learn how to cook her human food. With two hands, extendable horn appendages, and a tail that was useful for grabbing and equally dextrous, he was quick in the kitchen.

He’d learned his sense of taste was stronger than hers, and that he had to add additional spices, salt, and pepper.

Oddly enough, since he’d started doing this task, she seemed more interested in cooking. She often watched him, talking to him regarding his life as she shared her own, and sometimes came to help.

Her home was also spotless, but that was due to a touch of magic, so he didn’t really have to do anything regarding that.

Simply put, Vorg felt blessed every day.

He didn’t even mind that she’d befriended that Oliver man. Not when she’d told him that he was nice, and when she’d texted him to turn him down and had explained Vorg coming into her life, he’d easily stepped back from pursuing her. He’d extended his friendship instead, and she’d wanted to return it, weirdly asking Vorg if that was fine.

He didn’t care, so long as the only body she shared her warmth with was his.

His pretty darklight finally closed her book and stared at the TV for a long while with a faraway gaze. He noted her in hisperiphery, but he was in the middle of fighting a boss in his game and kept his focus there.

She eventually yanked her phone from the pocket of her track pants, having already showered and changed from work. He knew this to be a new routine, as when he’d been watching her through Skaarvar’s eyes, she preferred to have a bath right before bed.

This change was caused by him, due to him frequently attacking her for sex at random times throughout the evening. She kept her make-up on, though, as if she wanted to feel prettier despite the fact that he would see it messy and smeared by the time he was done feasting upon her decadent body... and sexual energy.

He liked her without it and hoped she’d grow confident in his affection for her to no longer wear it if she wished.

Skylar gasped, and he winced when she shoved her elbows into his gut as she leaned up a little to look at her phone properly. She scrolled through a chat, obviously having missed multiple messages.

“Oh my god! He finally did it!” she squealed, shoving her phone in his face.

A picture of two people came into view. One was of Kaylee, her blonde hair and face easily recognisable to him. He didn’t know the man at her side. Kaylee had one eye closed with her tongue poking out the side of her lips, while the man with brown hair and piercings had the slightest upward quirk to his lips, despite his overall stoic expression.

“Malcom finally asked Kaylee out!”

She reclined against his chest and read back through the messages. Vorg was able to split his attention between the game by keeping a conjured viewing eye on it, while he diverted his real ones to her phone to peer over her shoulder.

Malcom? She told me about him.He hadn’t come to the café in the week he’d been shadowing Skylar to learn her job.

The messages spanned over three hours.

K: Guess who I saw getting off the train just as I was about to get on it!

K: Bitch, you never answer.

K: It was Malcom. He asked if I wanted to go for a drink.
