Daddy nods and we start playing. It takes him a few minutes to get into the story, but soon enough my horse is galloping around and the two others are fighting each other. Daddy makes the sound effects of them hitting each other and the soldier one falling off the edge of the table. I shriek and move the prince to save him. Daddy stops his hand halfway down to the floor and I position the prince's arm so he can reach out for the soldier.

"Whew, I'm glad you saved me, Ty." Daddy uses a deep voice that makes me laugh. "Does this mean that you choose to be with me?" His voice changes again and he holds the cape guy closer. "Wait, but I just pushed you off the cliff! I win the prince's heart."

Daddy looks at me with wide eyes. I crack up laughing and he joins me. It takes us several moments to calm down. "Do I have to choose, Daddy? Can I choose both of them? They both fighted so good."

"Hmm." He looks at the prince in my hand and the two in his. The horse is standing off to the side. "I guess we can allow that."

I clap happily and then mush my prince against the two and Daddy starts making kissy noises. I'm laughing again untilDaddy pulls them away and pushes the coffee table away so we have more room. "Question."

"Answer," I say back in the same tone with a smirk. Daddy rolls his eyes but lays his hands on my thighs.

"Can Daddy kisshisPrince?"

"Umm." I tap a finger against my chin and look up toward the ceiling. I can feel Daddy's fingers dancing against my bare skin and it tickles a bit. "Gotta catch me first!"

I turn and start crawling away from him. I'm clumsy though and immediately fall to my tummy. Daddy doesn't waste a moment and crawls over top of me, trapping me between his hands and knees. I turn my head to try and look at him. I can only see half of his face in this position.

"That was easy," he says with a wide smile. "Now, can Daddy kiss you?"

I roll onto my back and pull Daddy down until our lips meet. He tastes minty fresh and I realize he probably brushed his teeth before coming into the bedroom. I part my lips, tilting my head slightly to allow him all the access he could want. His tongue slides against mine slowly, exploring my mouth like I do his.

I feel a low moan rising up my throat and let it out shamelessly. When Brandt pulls back, we're both breathing heavily. "That was some kiss, my Prince."

My Prince.

Something about those two words sends butterflies through my entire body. I love it and hope he'll use it again. "Do you like that nickname, Ty? Do you want to be Daddy's Prince?"

"Yes, please." I nod quickly. Daddy kisses me once more before he pulls back and sits back down. I right my clothes and sit criss cross in front of him. "I be the best Prince."

"Do you want to play another round of Rescue? We have a few minutes before we need to brush our teeth and get ready for bed."

"Do I have to go to sleep?" I ask. I bat my eyes at him and put on my best, most innocent voice. He can't say no to me, can he?

"Yes, baby. You have to be up early tomorrow and we can't have you tired, right? That's not good for your health." I pout, even if I know he's right. Big me has been keeping a schedule to sleep enough each night, but tonight I'm having fun and want to play.

"But the coffee shop isn't too far," I argue. "I can sleep a little longer before I have to wake up, so I can stay up later."

"Tyler, this isn't up for debate." His voice is firm and if he didn't have a happy glint in his eyes and the smallest tick of a smirk, I'd think he was actually getting annoyed. I play into it.

"I don't wanna go," I say. I turn away from him and this time, I move up to sit on the couch. "I wanna play more."

"Baby, we can play for a few more minutes, but if you're going to act like this we can go to bed now. What do you want?"

I look at him, still pouting a bit. I do want to play more. I want to play with Daddy. I give up the pretense of being bratty and sigh. "I sorry. I want to play, please."

"Thank you," Daddy says. "How about we play a card game and then I can read you a book?"

"Okay."

Daddy grabs a deck of cards from a basket under the coffee table and shuffles them. We start with a round of Go Fish and when Daddy wins by a lot, we play War. I laugh every time we slap our hands down on top of each other. It takes almost twenty minutes for one of us to win.

"I win!" I say, cut off immediately by a surprise yawn. I cover my mouth with my hand until I'm done.

"And I think that means bedtime, Ty." Daddy puts the cards back in the box and adds the other toys as well. I rub at one of my eyes and sigh. I don't have the energy to fight him on bedtime now. "Come on, baby. Do you have your medicine with you?"

I nod and Daddy leaves me in the hallway to get the medicine. He's back in under a minute and guiding me to the bathroom. He drops the pill into my hand and I swallow it with no problem with a sip of water from the bathroom sink.

"Make sure you use the bathroom before you come to bed, okay?"
