We separated, and I saw all the other players hugging and kissing their wives and kids. I wanted so badly to show Fallon how much I loved him, but like always, he had that sixth sense and shook his head while taking a step away.

“Not right now. Not here.”

“Trick, Trick, come on. They’re gonna do the trophy.” Rio pulled at me. “Hey, Fallon.”

“Great game, Rio. Congratulations.” He and Fallon bumped fists.

“Catch you later.” I pinned Fallon with a fierce gaze. “Don’t you dare leave.”

“Wouldn’t think of it.” I watched him walk away to where Dev was on a commercial break. Happy that Fallon had a friend to hang with, I allowed myself time to enjoy the moment and stood onstage with the rest of the team to receive the trophy. All my dreams, all my hard work, had come down to this moment.

His short speech finished, the president of the NFL handed Armi the trophy.

“We did it. The Kingdom has spoken, and it said we are the Super Bowl champs. Continuing our winning ways, Patrick Sloane has proven to be a great leader and our quarterback of the future.”

Armi handed me the trophy, and I didn’t care that tears slid down my face. I was going to enjoy every damn second.

“Thank you, Armi, and thank you to the entire Kings organization. I gotta first thank Coach Jackson and the staff for their unrelenting push to make us better every time we step outon the field. To my parents, for always being by my side and loving me. To Devlin Summers and Brody Martin, your help put me on this stage. Most of all to the Kings fans, the greatest fans in the greatest city in the world, I love you.” The stadium roared as I held up the trophy and kissed it. “And to the one who owns my heart, thank you for believing in me.”

I handed the trophy off to Rio, who took it and made his speech. My teammates mobbed me when I was named MVP, and I wondered if they’d still feel the same once they learned that Fallon was the one I loved.

With the speeches finished, we hopped off the stage, and I was surrounded by media, superfans, and VIP guests. I made my way through the crowd to where Dev and Brody stood with Fallon and my parents.

“Congrats again on MVP. Totally deserved. You owned that field.” Dev hugged me.

Then Mom and Dad hugged me. “We’re going back to the hotel to relax for a little while. Go out and have fun with your friends, and we’ll see you tomorrow.”

She was so cute. “Yeah, we’ll meet for breakfast. Love you both.” I kissed them, and they hugged Fallon. Several Kings security were standing on the field, and I called them over and asked if they’d escort my parents out.

“Almost ready to go?” I nudged Fallon.

“Me? I figured I’d go to the hotel while you partied with the team.”

“Fuck that. You’re coming with me.”

Dev cocked his head. “That might cut into your face time with the ladies.”

I shrugged. “That doesn’t seem to matter much to me anymore.” Thinking fast, I narrowed my eyes. “When’s your next podcast?”

He looked toward Brody. “Tuesday. We’re doing a rundown of the game.”

I smiled. “You’ve got yourself a special guest. Your ratings are gonna go through the roof.”

Dev’s jaw dropped. “You’re gonna do it onThe Huddle? You’re sure?”

I slung an arm around Fallon’s shoulders. “Never been so sure of anything in my life.”

Fallon’s hair swung over his face as he moved on top of me. “Patrick, oh God, Patrick,” he moaned as I held tight to his hips and thrust up deep.

The hot walls of his ass gripped my throbbing dick. He rode me faster, his eyes gleaming with wild passion, and I fell into their blue depths, spiraling downward.

“Fal, Fallon,” I cried out as I exploded inside him, my climax almost painful in its intensity. A shower of stars burst through me, burning me from my blood to the marrow of my bones. Vaguely aware of his come splashing across my belly and chest, I pulled him on top of me, burying my lips in his hair. “I love you so damn much.”

He sighed and rolled off me, staying close enough for me to feel the quivers still running under his skin. “Are you really gonna come out on the podcast?”

“Mmm, that’s my plan.” I turned on my side to meet his eyes. “You’re still worried?”
