“No. Not a party. But maybe it will give you some closure. They said they have some exclusive information. Maybe you’ll learn something new.”

“I know all I need to.”

“Speaking of learning new information, I had a long chat with Fernando today. The salesman who helped you that day you came by Maximillian?”

“That’s nice.”

“He mentioned he talked to you.” His blue eyes twinkled. “And when I asked Matty if he’d heard what the man Donald talked to looked like, he mentioned tall, very handsome, with pretty eyes.Like amber.”

Wolf raised a brow and fluffed his hair. “I’ve been told I have beautiful eyes.”

Spencer whooped with laughter. “You did not.”

He cracked a grin.

“Oh, God.” Dramatic as always, Spencer fell on the couch. “This is amazing. You’re just as evil as I am. I knew you were perfect.”

The bell rang, and he left Spencer cackling to answer the door. Elliot and Win waited with Chess and André behind them.

“All of you at once?”

“We met in the lobby.” Elliot stopped in the entrance after they’d all filed inside. “What’s wrong with him?” He pointed to Spencer, who stood wiping his eyes and was all red in the face.

“Wolfie just told me he was the one who tied up Donald in the dressing room.”

“I don’t recall saying anything.”

Spencer slipped his arms around him. “You didn’t need to. The only thing that could make it even more perfect was if I could’ve seen it.”

“Never let it be said I’m not your Prince Charming, making your dreams come true.” He took out his phone and scrolled to the pictures. “I guarantee he’ll think twice about fucking someone over again.”

“Oh, my God. This is…” With a strange expression, Spencer handed the phone to Elliot and drew Wolf aside while the rest of their friends looked at the pictures.

“What’s wrong? Are you angry?”

Spencer kissed him. “Are you crazy? He deserved it. I only wish I had a devious mind like yours and would’ve thought it up myself.” Their lips met, and Spencer murmured against the corner of his mouth. “Thank you. No one’s ever stood up for me like that.”

“You don’t have to worry about that anymore.”

Wolf held him tight for a moment, then released him, only to see the goofy smiles of all their friends.

“Will you idiots stop gawking? You act like you’ve never seen two men hugging.”

Chess handed him the phone and kissed his cheek. “Not these two.”

Hmph. He had a point, but Wolf didn’t care and kept his arm around Spencer’s waist.

“We have sandwiches and sides on the kitchen island. Take a plate and drinks and we can sit.”

The conversation flowed easily, and Wolf was happy to let Spencer take the lead and talk about his new job.

“I love it. Every designer I’ve spoken with is not only excited to work with Webster, but asked if they could create products specifically branded for the hotels. Plus, I have some ideas of my own concerning products customized by climate.” His eyes twinkled. “I believe this is the start of a beautiful relationship. Although I might need to travel to the Med to test out the waters.”

André chuckled. “Bianca is ecstatic with the response after only the few days since you’ve descended on us. I have a feeling that obscenely large salary we’re paying you will be well spent.” He popped a piece of cookie into his mouth. “It pays to have a lawyer in the family, negotiating on your behalf. Wolf is as tenacious as his name.”

Wolf brushed the crumbs off his fingers. “He deserves it. And Spencer knows I have his best interests at heart.”

Spencer leaned over the couch to hug him around the neck and whisper in his ear. “That’s because you own my heart. And the rest of me.”
