“Perfect. You’re fucking perfect. Fucking mine.”
Pleasure spiraled through him, and a buzzing sounded in his head as the first tingles of his orgasm began. Craving friction on his dick, Elliot wrapped his fingers around his length and rapidly jerked himself.
“Now, now,” he chanted as he came, shooting onto his hand and stomach and Win’s chest. “God, Win.” Battered and torn apart by the powerful climax ripping through him, Elliot clamped down on Win’s thick shaft deep in his passage. He dug his fingers into Win’s biceps, holding on as Win slammed into him and exploded, filling him with hot come. Elliot loved the sticky slide of his skin against Win’s heated flesh.
“Ahhhh,” Win groaned and collapsed on top of him, lips finding the crook of his neck, and Elliot sighed with a completeness he’d never known. The salty taste of Win’s skin on his lips, the heavy muscles under his fingertips, the trickle of wetness after Win slowly withdrew, all made up the incredible rightness of this magical moment he’d never forget.
They lay entwined, and Elliot shifted.
“What’s wrong?” Win pushed the hair from his face. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?”
“No. Of course not. It was like you said, perfect. Just…”
“Just what?” Win rolled onto his side toward him, face half in shadows, but Elliot saw him. He’d find Win in complete darkness if he needed.
“Tell me about Kevin.”
Win froze. “We’re naked in bed after saying I love you for the first time, and this is what you want to talk about?” He withdrew and sat on the bed, head bowed, and Elliot, with a sudden burst of courage he hadn’t known he possessed, scrambled to his side and put his arms around Win’s stiff, unyielding body.
“Because I’ll never be able to understand who you are without you telling me about one of the most important people in your life. He’s an intrinsic part of you, so I need to know, and you’re the only person who can tell me.”
Barely breathing, Elliot waited, wondering if Win would speak. This night had put them both through the gamut of emotions, from fear to pain to incredible joy, but Elliot knew this gnawing uncertainty would haunt him unless he got the answers he needed.
“He was the sunshine to my night, the kind of person everyone loved immediately when they met him. He made me happy.”
How could he compete with a paragon?
He’d made no sound or movement, but Win shifted to face him.
“You’re upset.” Throat tight, Elliot shook his head rather than embarrass himself by answering, but Win knew him now and tipped his chin up. His hard gaze softened when their eyes met. “Ah, babe. Don’t. Don’t do this to yourself. You asked me, knowing. I’ll always tell you the truth now because I don’t ever want to lie to you.”
“It’s okay,” he whispered. “Of course you love him. I understand you’ll never stop loving him.”
“No, I won’t. But I don’t have to.” A tender smile tipped up his lips. “And it doesn’t mean I don’t love you too. I found myself again when I fell in love with you. Please don’t doubt me or us.” Win kissed him and murmured against his mouth, “I love you. I’ve stopped mourning what I lost, and I’m ready to move forward. With you. Do you believe me?”
“I want to.”
“But?”
“But…I don’t know.” He stretched out on the bed and stared at the ceiling. “I know I love you more than anything, but I have a hard time believing someone will put me first.”
Returning to his side, Win studied him. “Because of your parents and how they treated you after your sister died?”
Surprised by his insight, Elliot shrugged. “I should be over it. It’s stupid.”
“No, it isn’t. It’s how you feel, and from what you’ve told me, it’s valid.” He yawned and scrubbed his face with his hands, and his shadowed eyes drooped. “But I’m exhausted, and I’ll probably be better equipped to handle this in the morning. How about we take a shower, go to bed, and continue the conversation over breakfast?” Win rested his head on the pillow next to him.
A protective rush of love swept through him. “I don’t doubt you. I really don’t. I love you, and I know you love me. Everything’s going to be fine.”
A slight snore greeted him, and Elliot laughed and went to take a shower by himself. When he slipped under the sheets, he snuggled up to Win and whispered, “I love you.”
Win’s arms tightened around him. “Love you too.”

“Good morning.”
He woke to Win’s lips on his.
