Darkness slid over them, and Elliot marveled at the absolute peace of the beach at night. It contrasted starkly with that afternoon, when Elliot had left the cemetery—a place where people went to achieve calm—with his nerves in knots and an urge to get drunk.

“I haven’t made it to the beach in years,” Win mused. “And never at night. It’s like a different world.”

Elliot rested his head on Win’s chest. “What made you want to come? It’s been something I’ve always wanted to do.”

“The night seems darker out here. Thicker. If that makes sense.” Win nudged the side of his neck, pressing kisses that grew hungry and demanding. “Not many people around, so it’s the perfect place.”

Elliot’s breathing came in short, hard pants. “P-perfect for what…ohhh.” He moaned when Win popped the buttons on his shorts and slid a large, warm palm into his boxers to grasp him. “Don’t want anyone to see us.”

“Why do you think I brought an extra blanket?” Win tossed the throw over Elliot’s lap. “I knew I couldn’t wait until we got home.” His fingers continued to dance up and down Elliot’s now rock-hard dick, and he wiggled a little to allow his shorts to slide lower and give Win better access.

“Here’s to having no restraint.” Elliot’s laughter ended in a groan as a rush of pleasure overwhelmed him, as if he’d been knocked over by one of the waves pounding the shoreline. Maybe it was the excitement of being in the open with his pants undone and the rough blanket rubbing against his naked skin, while people sat less than a hundred yards away. Or maybe it was the hard, hot kisses Win trailed along his neck, his hand busy pumping Elliot’s shaft.

“Why do you drive me so crazy?” Win nipped his ear while giving his balls a tug. “Can’t stop touching you.”

“Don’t,” Elliot gasped, the ache of his orgasm blowing through him. “Not now. Oh, God.”

Win’s mouth came down on his in a hard, punishing kiss, muting his cry as he shot hot streams of come, the stars exploding behind his eyes in direct competition to those burning brightly in the dark night sky.

Blinking his way back to reality, Elliot saw Win’s smiling face and watched, mesmerized, as he withdrew his hand, but instead of wiping it off, licked his fingers clean.

“Just wait until I get you home.” Elliot threaded his hand in the silky waves of Win’s hair and yanked him close for a deep kiss that stole his breath and his heart.

Damn, he was in trouble.
