“Please, Jer, please.”
Jeremy ripped open the condom and rolled it on, then slicked his aching cock. Nothing could be more perfect than to have Blake back with him in his life. From the very first, Blake brought him peace. Love proved it didn’t matter how long you knew a person—days, weeks, years. The heart will call you home. Jeremy guided himself deep inside Blake, rested his cheek against Blake’s, and came home.
Chapter Twenty-Six
Lying beneath Jeremy, naked and exposed, Blake tensed. Having Jeremy inside him again realigned his broken heart. Hope weighed on him, anchoring his soul, stirring him back to life. Under Jeremy’s skillful lovemaking, Blake lit up inside, his blood firing the sweet ache of a passion he’d thought gone for good.
“Oh God.” Maybe…he reached down to touch himself and found his hand batted away.
“You called?” Jeremy murmured in his ear. “I know I’m good, babe, but no need to go that far.” Jeremy slid his hand over the tip of Blake’s dick and hummed. “It’s not about you being hard for me. Let go for you. Free yourself.”
Blake gasped as Jeremy stroked him, and he swelled inside his grasp. There was love between them in every sigh and passion-filled moan. For once, Blake didn’t worry if he was pleasing Jeremy or if he was enough. From Jeremy’s heavy thrusts to his harsh, hot breath, Blake fell back into the rhythm of their life and gave himself up to the power building inside him. He closed off all thought except the feel of Jeremy’s hard cock pushing into him and the hand around his dick, wrapped so firm and strong.
“Yeah, that’s it, that’s it.”
Jeremy slammed into him and came so deep inside Blake, they became an amalgam of each other. Impossible to separate.
A rush came over him, and his dick jerked inside Jeremy’s hand, still not fully hard but enough to bring him the sweetest of releases. They lay in bed, wet and shaking, Jeremy still inside him.
“Mmm. I might stay this way the whole night.” Jeremy dragged their arms wide and lay spread on top of him, his dips and curves melding perfectly with Blake’s. “You fit me like a glove, baby. Your body was meant for me.”
“It was perfect.” Blake turned his cheek and smiled into the pillow. “And I mean that in a good way. Perfect for us.”
“Yeah.” Jeremy snuggled closer, and Blake welcomed his weight and the hot trail of kisses along his neck and shoulder. “After I clean up, we can finish our talk from this morning while we grab a snack, unless you need to go to sleep since you have to wake up early.” But instead of sliding out of him and getting up, Jeremy kissed his shoulder, nuzzling into the crook of his neck. “Mmm, tastes so good. Forget it. Maybe I’ll stay here and eat you up instead.”
Sparks showered through him as Jeremy sucked his neck. It was hard to imagine a big strong man like Jeremy being such a softy, but that was one of the things Blake loved—that dichotomy between Jeremy’s strength and his sweetness. Blake stretched, and Jeremy slid out but continued to pin him to the bed with his bulk. Blake didn’t mind, but they did need to talk.
“If you’re serious about getting up, you’re going to have to stop doing that.” Jeremy’s big body shook as he chuckled, but he kept right on licking his neck and nipping at the skin. It was as if Jeremy wanted to mark him, and at that thought, warmth flooded through him and he tingled.
“Damn. I was hoping you’d say no.”
Blake laughed and pushed Jeremy. “Go on, you big lug, get off me.”
Giving him one final kiss and squeeze, Jeremy rolled off the bed with a huge groan.
“Okay. Well, I have stuff we can make for sandwiches, and of course, some primo juices. Perks of being the boss.” He winked, took off the condom, then went into the bathroom. Blake sat up and stretched, his body aching in the best way possible.
“Sounds good. Let’s do it.” He jumped up, nervous as to how Jeremy would take his news. But Jeremy loved him and would stand by him. No more doubts about whether he was enough.
“Naked midnight snacking. I might have to make that a rule for us.” Jeremy squeezed his ass, and Blake laughed, never happier.
“That’s one rule I’d never break.”
They rummaged through the refrigerator and took out turkey and veggies, mustard and mayo. Jeremy piled it all on the rolls Blake cut, and they sat munching their sandwiches, Jeremy running his foot up Blake’s leg every once in a while. Contentment poured through Blake, and he wanted so much for this to work, to have this every night. To be a family with Jeremy.
“I’m still curious about something.”
Finishing his last bite, Jeremy leaned back in his chair. “Ask away.”
“How did you know where I was? I was so excited to see you this morning, I didn’t even ask.”
With a bit of a grin that could rival the Cheshire cat, Jeremy hooked his foot on Blake’s chair and pulled him closer. “I got tired of waiting for you to change your mind and decided to take the initiative. I went to your office.”
Blake choked and sputtered. “Wh—my-my office? In the city? You went there?” Imagining Jeremy at Shipman and York blew his mind.
“Yeah. Big building in the city, lots of people. That office. Yes, I went there. I got tired of waiting for you to pull your head out of your ass and realize we should be together. So I said to hell with what you want. I’m going after what I want. You.”
“Oh.” Unable to eat any more of his food with his stomach jumping, Blake set down his sandwich. “That…that’s probably the nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me.”
