We wish you all were here.

Grace

If we could open the door, I would’ve braved the cold for food. But it’s piled up.

Harley

Same.

Enid

Yeah, I can barely see your cabin from our bedroom window.

Sin

I can see the main cabin but past that it’s just white.

Harley

I will say, the view from our bed is killer. I kind of want to take my book up there and spend the day reading with snow as my backdrop.

Kodi

Ooo what’re you reading?

Harley

Our very own Darcy’s latest release.

Darcy

Be warned. Chapter thirteen may have you pouncing on ya man. At least that’s what Kodi says.

Grace

I second that.

Sin

I don’t have a man, but hard agree.

Enid

Definitely. Conrad and I had a good night after I read that chapter.

I giggle out loud and it causes Collins to pop his head over the couch asking, “What’s so funny? Jesus, you’re bright red.”

“Just the girls being the girls. Continue as you were.” I blow a kiss up at him which he catches and sticks in his pocket before turning back to the kitchen.

Harley

Thanks for the heads up. About to enjoy breakfast, talk later

Collins and I spend the rest of the day playing Scrabble, drinking hot chocolate, and watching The Two Towers. We take multiple pauses for refills and snacks along with Collins explaining how certain scenes were shot or the slightest differences from the books. He’s always nerded out over this franchise and I can’t blame him. I get the hype now. It’s the perfect amount of fantasy storytelling blended with action and the smallest bit of romance.

On a yawn, I say, “Alright, I think I’m ready to shower and head to bed.”

Collins holds me tighter from behind, “But we were so cozy.”
