I make my way out of the clubhouse after popping my head into the kitchen, where Molly is arguing with the club girls, andit’s amusing as they are talking about changing the name from evening meal to supper. I don’t think anyone will worry that Molly calls it supper? It's good food, and that’s all we care about. When she leaves, we are going to miss her cooking. Maybe I’ll tell Jamie she can’t go work for her until she’s done her punishment? That way we have another week of supper worth eating.
“Shut the fuck up…” I snap as I step into the kitchen. “If Molly wants to call it supper, then it’s supper. Unless you all want to cook the evening meal, and make it fuckin’ edible?” Surprise, surprise, they all shake their heads and scurry out of the kitchen.
Molly giggles to herself mainly as she turns back to what she was doing. “Thanks, Breaker.”
“No problem, Molly. You’ve only another week and then we’ll release you to work with Jamie, but Molly you’ll have a prospect or brother near in case Carrie-Anne appears.”
Molly turns and smiles. “That’s okay. If she turns up, I’m going to kill the bitch. I’m finally getting somewhere with my life, and I’m not having her come and ruin it again. She’s done that so many times I’m not allowing her to do it again.”
“Okay, I’m outta here for now.” I have no idea why I am telling her that, but when she gives me a small smile, I can’t help but like it.
Walking into the practice, I pass Angel who is a pain in everyone’s ass, and as usual she gives that stupid stick your chest out and lick your lips ploy. It’s fuckin’ disgusting and not at all enticing.
I tap on Jamie’s office door even though it’s open. “Jamie, can I have a word?”
Jamie looks up from whatever she was doing, and sighs. “You are here about Molly aren’t you?”
“Yeah, but probably not what you think.”
Jamie surprises me when she speaks again. “Come in and close the door.”
After closing the door, I take a seat in front of Jamie’s desk before giving her all my attention. “Jamie, Molly is clear to come work with you at the end of next week. She has to finish her kitchen duties as punishment. Once she is free of that and comes to you we will have a prospect or brother watching her. You know I presume her sister has caused a major issue for Molly, and that’s why she was kidnapped. That threat is not entirely gone since we can’t find her sister.”
“Okay, so basically, the sister is a threat and the people who kidnapped Molly are threats. Hmm, now we have the house ready next door. I had extra security alarms fitted to it. Do you want Bull to put any extra on in case? I know he’d probably get someone here faster than the law.” Jamie leans forward and clasps her hands.
“Yes, but we’ll need a key. In case something happens and we can’t get in. Yeah, we can break in, but it would be faster if we had real access to the place.”
“Okay, but only use it if needed. Don’t abuse my trust, Breaker.”
“Would I do that?” If I were nine, I’d probably cross my fingers behind my back, but I’m a biker and I haven’t actually made her a promise, or given my word.
Leaving Jamie’s, I get a text message from Smoker to go to the garage. What the fuck has he found wrong with my hog. I putmy girl into the garage for Smoker to give her a more thorough looking over after Fink had his dirty hands on her.
Walking into the garage, I am hailed into the office where Smoker is sitting smoking. “Well, Breaker, I found a tracker on your hog that is not one of ours. I’ve dispensed with it and I’ve attached a new one that Bull has made. You can take her when you are ready. Let me show you where it was, and when you have to leave her unattended check her over before you ride her.”
“Fuckin’ assholes. I bet the fuckers were going to grab her again. As it is I’m thinking of selling her. Doesn’t feel as good now that asshole has ridden her.”
“Yeah, I can relate to that. When I was a kid someone stole my bike, and I didn’t want it after I got it back. Sold it, and got a skateboard instead.” We both laugh at the fact that he gave up a bike for a board.
“I’ll see how I feel in a few weeks, but I’m not sure I’ll keep her. If you know anyone that would be interested and give me a good price let me know.”
“Will do, Breaker. Do you want me to have the hog taken to the clubhouse?” Smoker is walking beside me as we walk out of the garage.
“Yeah, do that, or not, I’m not bothered either way. I’m thinking I’ll have to have another custom or see what takes my eye.”
Smoker grins. “I know a woman who’ll paint your tank like you’ve never seen one done before. She only ever does one of a kind. But she’s good.” Taking out his phone, Smoker passes it to me to see the work this woman has done, and I’m gonna tell you she’s damn good.
“That is a thought I can run with, Smoker.”
Walking into the clubhouse twenty minutes later, I stop when I hear voices behind the utility room door. It’s not the voices that catch my attention. It’s the fact that I hear Molly’s name.
“We have to get rid of her…”
“She thinks she’s something better than us…”
“What do you want us to do?”
“I’m not doing anything to her. She’s not done anything to us…”
