“A pretty nigga with a lot of hair. I’m hearing y’all was hugged up, and the nigga was kissing all on you before y’all dipped together.”

Yanna tucked her leg under her butt, smirking as she tossed a grape in her mouth. “You should’ve asked them what we didafterwe left.”

With the speed of light, Kas hopped over the coffee table trying to get to Yanna. He lunged for her, but Troi and Layla held him back.

“Kasra, have you lost your mind!”

Yanna was now standing on the couch, one of Layla’s elephant figurines clutched in her hand like a weapon. “You think I won’t fight a nigga? I wish you would come over here like you crazy. Send your ass out here like Tina had Ike limping out that limo. Fuck around and find out if you want to.”

“I hurt yo feelings or whatever over some shit yo indecisive ass don’t even know the full story on, so you lay down for the first nigga that pay yo weak ass some attention, huh?!” Kas yelled as Layla pushed him toward the door. “All yo ass wanna do is hoe!”

“And I did a whole lot of hoe shit with that wild hair nigga too.” Yanna stuck out her tongue, bending over and shaking her ass.

Kas tried to get around his mom, but Troi stepped in as extra reinforcement. “Yanna, please!”

By the time they all made it outside, Onyx was coming out of the house having heard the commotion.

“What the hell is going on? Y’all ‘bout to wake Kian up with all that fucking noise.”

“Jaiyanna a fucking slut, but what else is new?” Kas spat.

“Wow…I’mthe slut? You want to tell your mumma about the special guest you had over here the other day?” Kas shot Yanna a warning glare but didn’t say anything. “Yea, that’s what I thought.”

“Aye, fuck you, Yanna. Dead ass. I asked yo dumb ass to let me explain, but fuck it, I’m done with you. I promise.”

“I’ll cry about it later, okay?”

Kas turned and flipped Yanna the middle finger before angrily stomping toward his house with Onyx and Blue in tow.

“Kas, I’ll be by there to talk to you in the morning!” Layla yelled to his back. She’d never seen her son act that way and needed to have a serious talk with him.

“I don’t wanna hear it, mumma!” Kas shouted back over his shoulder.

“He’s a fucking child,” Yanna spat.

“Come on back in this house, lil’ girl.” Layla ushered Troi and Yanna back into the house, and they took up their previous places on the couch as if that whole scenario didn’t take place. “Okay, do you want to tell me what the hell all that was about?”

Yanna downed the remainder of the wine in her glass before pouring herself more. “I am so sick of your son, Ms. Layla. Like, what did you do with Onyx that you didn’t do with Kas?”

“I gave both my boys the same lessons, and there’s not much difference between the two. Before meeting Troi, Onyx was no different than Kas. Kas is just spoiled and a little immature. He needs to grow up, is all.”

“You’re exactly right. He’s so damn infuriating… he just came in here and put on that whole little scene like he cares for real.”

“You know he does,” Troi added.

Yanna scoffed. “No, the hell he doesn’t. Kas does not take me serious at all. He claims he wants to love me and do right, but the moment I’m not doing what he wants, he goes to hoe around with these random broads. I’m expected to deal with it, but when I return the energy, his chest hurting, andI’mthe hoe. And it’s sad because I really like Kas, but ain’t no way I’mma let a nigga drag me to hell. I watch my mumma…” Her voice cracked as her voice trailed off, and she shook her head, not choosing to finish her statement. “…. Anyway, nah, I’m not doing it.”

“I need a damn blunt because y’all two gone drive me insane, and I don’t even smoke,” Layla stated with a shake of her head. Sitting down her wine glass, she turned to Yanna. “You know, I tell you all the time you and Kas are the same person because the only person that annoys me more than him… is you. Y’all are two peas in a pod, can’t get right for shit. Your ass be dead wrong ---”

“Really, mumma Lay? Of course, take up for your son.”

“Girl, shut the hell up, because when those boys are wrong, I’mma call them on their shit. Do I or do I not, Troi?”

“You damn sure do.”

“Exactly, now let me finish. Yes,yoube dead wrong, and I’m gone tell you why. You love my son, and I can see that. Youknowyou love my son, but you refuse to admit it. You don’t want to accept it, so you push my baby away. You use some shit that happened two days after y’all met as a reason why you don’t want to deal with him. It’s bullshit…”

“But it’s not just that though. The bitch in California---”
