If the man was struggling, he’d help.

Hell.

He’d give up hot Native debauchery for him. After all, they had separate rooms.

He would molest his man later, and torment him lowkey at the restaurant. For Corbin, he’d protect the man’s heart and make it look like he wasn’t thinking about sex.

Oh, he absolutely was, but he’d let the man think he wasn’t.

“Really?” Corbin asked. “I thought you’d want to avoid us as much as possible.”

Gene was honest.

“Like I said, had you just told us you wanted to join us, you know I wouldn’t say no. I’m good with you being here. The family that vacations in Puerto Rico at a gay resort together, stays together,” he said, lying his ass off because this was ridiculous.

“Are you sure?” he asked.

Both men took one for the team.

“Yes,” they said together.

And this was why Will loved both of these men.

They were more willing to protect Corbin than have a vacation they desperately deserved. It showed how much they cared about Corbin and wanted to protect him.

They were good men.

“Thank you.”

Ethan backed that up.

“We’re family, Corbin. You live with us. If we didn’t want you around, do you think we would have you bunking in our condo, or had you put in a position that will make you effectively work with us on every case?”

He just listened.

Gene agreed.

“I left the tickets on the counter for a reason, Corbin. If you needed us, you’d know how to find us. I’m a Fed. If I want to do things under the radar, you’re never finding out.”

Yeah, like how he’d killed the man who had done this to Corbin. Landry was in a hole somewhere, and that was all done on the DL.

Corbin felt better knowing they wanted him around. Yeah, he wanted to bust their asses, but he was always worried he’d become a burden on them.

They’d saved him, and he owed them his life. He didn’t have family other than Alice and John, and that was different.

“Thank you for making me feel welcome.”

Ethan didn’t mind.

They had rooms that were separated with a whole floor. Corbin wouldn’t hear jack shit when they were fornicating.

And from the feel of it, Gene was thinking about another round, and so was he. Tala wasn’t satiated, and he needed more.

Gene was going to be exhausted by the end of the week.

For.

Sure.
