Also, it may have cost him another year as Gabe’s hand of justice in this city, but for Corbin, who was part of his family, it was worth the time.

Then, if that time hadn’t been stressful enough, there was the fact that Javier Hughes was out on bail, so he was continually having to watch his back like every breath could be his last.
And that shit wasn’t happening either.
If that piece of perverted filth thought that he’d go down and leave Ethan behind…alone.

So, life went on. They’d both had to go right back to work like nothing monumental was going on around them. They had to keep fighting the good fight in order to help keep the city above water.

Truthfully, the following weeks had been a blur, and finally, Corbin was getting better, so they could take a little vacation.

Yeah, that was his kind of happy destination any day of the week.
The both of them were more than happy to get away to get some downtime.
This was their light at the end of the tunnel after nearly getting plowed over by a train.
They were so happy that once up, that morning, they’d fornicated like wild animals, enjoying that they were not working for a week.

Normally, Corbin and Will were crashing there, but last night, the two men wanted to give them some privacy, so they stayed at Will’s place. They would be there for the next week, so Corbin could feel safe.
For the first time in the last five weeks, the nest was‘kid’-free, and there had been no reason to be quiet.

They had gone to bed wild, and they had awoken that way too. Gene had gotten Ethan up early, and with his mouth.
