I continued drilling him.
"Well, I want to make sure you're paying attention. These missions aren't child’s play. If you stoppedstaring at Yara's tits for a minute, then I could take you seriously. Pay attention!"
Zach stretched his arms over his head, yawning.
"Honestly, Atlas, you need to learn how to decompress. I don't know why you are so uptight all the time."
I looked at my brother, feeling frustrated. I wanted to strangle him. If he were anyone else, I might have.
"Just pay attention and stop being a smartass. This meeting is over if everyone knows their role and agrees."
A slight movement in the corner of my eye caught my attention. I looked over at the doorway to the den and saw Kitten standing there with a look of shock on her face.
My lips curved upward, smiling. At least she put on something decent, but she knew I was expecting company. Her long, wavy hair was hanging loosely down her back, totally unruly and messy.
I know I bought her a few brushes, but maybe she was too tired to lift one. I almost chuckled at the thought. Even with messy hair, she still looked fabulous.
The ivory sundress she had on hugged her curves tightly, but unlike Yara over here, I couldn't see her tits through the fabric. She wore a bra to hold in her buxom boobs. I had to stop thinking about her body, or I was going to pop a tent right here in front of everyone.
I cleared my throat.
“Are you feeling better, Kitten?"
She stiffened when I said her pet name. I am so used to calling her pet or Kitten that it naturally rolls off my tongue. I know I should use her real name, butI prefer the personal ones I put in place. It solidified my ownership of her. After all, she is technically my pet. Her eyes glanced over at our guests before gazing into mine.
" Yes, I feel less tired. Thank you."
I swept my arm towards my kin.
"Kit, I don't believe you have met my brother Zach."
He still had a goofy grin spread across his face, but he nodded, greeting her with the utmost respect. He knew very well if he didn't, I would knock him on his ass.
"It's nice to meet you, Kit. I have heard a lot about you."
Kitten looked surprised. She quirked an eyebrow at Zach.
"Oh, I wasn't aware that Atlas ever brought me up in conversation." He laughed, scratching his chin.
"Oh, he does, trust me. As a matter of fact, I had something to do with him getting you here."
I turned my head towards him, scowling.
My voice was loud and angry. "We don't need to talk about that right now, Zach."
My brother didn't take it any further. He knew I had a mercurial temper, so he backed off, leaning into his chair.
I pointed to Jacob.
“This is my other partner, Jacob. He is my right-hand man. Someone I trust implicitly.”
She looked at him and smiled.
“Nice to meet you, Jacob.”
He nodded with a blank look on his face.
“Same here. I’m sure I will see youaround.”
