Hard to find someone who is willing though when you’ve lived in the same place your whole life. Everyone knows everyone and everyone is in everyone's business. Which is really fucking annoying. Especially when you are low key slutty like me.
It’s cool. I own it. I like sex and I won’t be sorry for it.
I hear some rustling around upstairs and it’s not long before Max appears at the bottom of the stairs. “Good morning,” I say with a smirk.
“Morning. Please, be cool dude,” Max demands while glaring at me.
“I’m always cool!” He’s the one who is not cool.
“No you absolutely are not,” Max says, making his way over to the coffee machine and grabbing two cups.
Charlie appears a moment later, wearing nothing but one of Max’s T-shirts. Her hair is adorably tousled, and she seems lighter and way happier than when I saw her last night. A good dicking will do that to a girl.
“Good morning scream queen! Hope you like pancakes!” I say loudly and proudly. Be cool my ass.
“Oh my god,” Charlie mumbles, her whole face flushing. She starts to turn around to go back upstairs but Max stops her.
“Ignore him,” he said while handing her a cup of coffee. “Told you he’s a dickhead but his pancakes are excellent.”
“Hey! I resemble that!” I joke. “But seriously, nothing to be embarrassed about sweetheart. You sounded hot as hell, and I got to spend all night scheming about how to get you to go on a date with me next. You’re gonna to be like ‘Max who?’ when I’m through with ya!”
Charlie’s eyes widen. “You’re really going to say that in front of him?” she asks incredulously while gesturing to Max.
Max shrugs and with a grin says, “You’re not a kept woman. Andy’s alright, but he won’t fuck you better than I did.”
“He’s alright?” Charlie repeats, quirking an eyebrow while a grin spreads across her face. “I didn’t realize I was going to be getting in the middle of your guy's relationship.”
Max snorts and I laugh. “Max wishes. I’m not a prude but I like girls. Period. Full stop.”
“Same here,” Max states while he pulls out a bar stool for Charlie.
She takes a seat and Max sits right next to her. I put some pancakes on a plate for each of them and set them down. “So seriously Charlie, what’s a guy gotta do to get a shot with you?”
She looks contemplative for a moment, stealing a glance at Max who smirks and quirks an eyebrow at her. Before she can answer though, the dark, brooding storm cloud that is Ben in the morning (and for most of the day) appears in the kitchen. He doesn’t acknowledge anyone before grabbing himself a cup of coffee and sitting down.
“Good morning, Ben,” I say with a chipper tone, handing him a plate of pancakes as well. He just grunts at me. The savage.
“Don’t mind him,” I tell Charlie while shooting him a dirty look. “He’s just not a morning person.”
“Sorry if we kept you up last night man,” Max adds.
Ben just grunts again and Max shrugs his shoulders at me. Way to kill the mood, Ben.
“Oh my god Andy, these are delicious,” Charlie gushes, mouth full of syrupy goodness.
“Thank you,” I say beaming. “It’s nice to have my cooking appreciated for once!”
“Oh, whatever dude,” Max rolls his eyes. “Thank you, supreme high lord kitchen master, for the awesome pancakes that you definitely only cooked because you knew Charlie was here.”
Charlie looks from Max to me, and I wink at her. She has the cutest blush. Our date is going to be so fun! I won’t be taking her on some boring dinner and drinks date like Max did. Nope, we’re going somewhere much more unique. If Max is right and she needs a distraction, it’s going to take more than some basic bitch date to do that.
Chapter 17
Ben
This poor girl has no idea what she has gotten herself into. These guys are going to eat her alive. I hope she’s up for it. Andy is completely delusional, and I can’t see this cutie ever agreeing to be in an open relationship with the two of them. Or a polycule … whatever the fuck Andy called it.
I know that Andy wants me to be part of it too, but I just can’t. It’s not fair to Mara. It wouldn’t be fair to Charlie either. I’m such a mess and even though I don’t know her very well, I know she doesn’t deserve to get caught up in one of my fucked-up, depressed moods. Or worse, I end up killing her too.
