Devastated.
Changed.
Breathless.
Her limbs refused to move. Her fingers curled helplessly into the bear pelt’s ashes. Her thighs refused to close, parted by the echo of that wet caress. She trembled with something closer to awe than desire, but it was desire still, elemental and whole.
She blinked but could not get out of that daze.
She shouldn’t have liked it. She should’ve screamed. Should’ve recoiled. But her body. . .her traitorous, overwhelmed body. . .was lit up from the inside, blown open by heat and want.
Above her, Korin loomed—eyes molten and gleaming, jaw parted, tongue sliding back into that vast, fanged mouth like he’d just sampled ambrosia.
In front of him, his huge cock bobbed, straining and dripping goldish white liquid.
It absolutely turned her on.
His breathing had changed too.
Heavy.
Thicker.
Needy.
"You taste of frost and fire," his voice was thick with hunger. "You are lightning in snow. You are a winter storm I want to drown in."
Sol whimpered.
“You are my greatest treasure, one I will never let go. One I will kill over, if anyone dares try to steal you. I will only share you with one and that is only because we share everything.”
His golden eyes bore down at her with a hunger that had evolved into something new.
Worship.
“Do you understand, little one?”
Still riding the high of bliss, she tried to get her thoughts together. “Y-yes and n-no.”
“Good.” And then, the air around his body began to ripple. It started at the base of his big throat—a tremble in the space between scales.
She whispered, "W-what's happening?"
Korin didn't answer.
He shuddered.
His wings flared outward, knocking over a throne and burying it in coins. Jewels cascaded down the slope like a waterfall.
And then. . .the sound of cracking echoed from him.
In horror, Sol realized the dragon’s huge bones were shifting, twisting, and even splitting.
Growling, Korin's body writhed. His neck shortened. Scales began to lift and peel, shedding away and burning into his skin.
Steam hissed from his form.
Claws retracted. The black and gold shimmer of his hide began to fade, curling in wisps of smoke that drifted into the air.
