My hips jerk against his length and then crash back down, feeling the roots below my hands as they begin to intwine around my fingers. They move past my wrists to my lower arms, the Shadow Oak holding me in this position as Keane thrusts up hard, groaning at the sight of me bouncing on top of him. I close my eyes at the intensity of him,of us, and surrender to the summoning that holds my arms in place. Everything about this position exposes me on top of Keane, and I know he likes the sight because he suddenly starts a succession of thrusts from below, the movements so hard that I have to grip the roots for all that I’m worth.
Keane takes control now, every one of his thrusts bringing a loud moan from my lips. I roll my body, moving my hips with his, and welcome every perfect claim that becomes his own. His hands leave my breasts to dip back down to my hips, grabbing them hard and holding them in place as he thrusts into me wildly, aggressively. I close my eyes and take every inch from him, take every thrust as his length reaches so deep within me that it pounds my body higher and higher towards the oak. He’s hitting my climaxwith each of those thrusts, building me so high that I’m nearly panting his name over and over again, unable to control myself.
I open my eyes in confusion when something sharp nicks the skin of my shoulder. Keane takes that moment to thrust the hardest he has into me, pushing both of our bodies up towards the Shadow Oak as his hands remain on my hips, keeping me down to take him. His eyes focus on our point of contact where his cock delivers pure ecstasy inside me, the intense gaze making me moan so loud that the ground begins to tremble below us. My hooded eyes move back to the Shadow Oak above, widening as I watch the leaves begin to rain down on us. Their black granite edges fall from the sky, surrounding the two of us as we continue to move together.
I moan at the sight as my heart tugs for the man under me, rolling my hips along his length and taking back control. I keep my head and chest angled upright with my hands still pinned to the ground behind me, fully embracing the absolute magic happening around us.
“Alexis,” Keane groans my name as my hips move more quickly, my own wetness providing a slick glide for the two of us. Another sharp cut graces the inside swell of my breast and I laugh… laugh again at the audacity of the oak and the fucking audacity ofhim. I look down at Keane and move his cock swiftly within me, truly unable to stop.
“Fuck, Alexis, keep moving,” he groans, bringing one of his hands to my clit, “you’re a fucking sight.”
“And you’re mine,” I moan, my hips moving wildly as I take possession of this man. Keane groans and rubs his fingers perfectly against my clit as another leaf falls down again, then another, the thin black granite filling the sky around us as they nip at our skin so perfectly.
“Yours, Alexis. All yours. Come for me, trouble.”
I let Keane thrust himself completely inside of me, his length filling every fucking inch. He gives another hard pump of his hips and I scream his name, my body completely unraveling as we both find another release under the Shadow Oak.
We didn’t much think about what would happen after the Shadow Oak. I know I certainly didn’t. But our grins are wide and full of more wicked promises as we walk out of the woods and back towards the barracks, our clothes completely disheveled and unkept as Stormfall flies ahead. I’m not even wearing any undergarments, having both of them ripped off and ruined by Keane. He smiled when he picked them up from the ground before our departure, tucking the lace into his back pocket before looking back at me like a foolish boy.
It’s just after the moons’ apex as we make our way back to the castle, both of us glowing under the soft light. Whatever smiles we have all over our faces makes the late night villagers on the fourth rise turn to us with knowing looks. They grin at us from afar but let the Prince and I move in our walk without disturbance.
We finally reach Castle Gaumond and its sweeping black walls that jut so sharply to the sky above. The granite sparkles brightly under the moonslight and literally brightens my heart, and I smile even wider when I spot the two large torches now gracing each side of the large entry wooden doors. The flames illuminate the black granite steps below them, ensuring that no hidden shadows or alcoves will ever be present again.
Apparently, Keane had the same idea as me.
Stormfall glides gently to my shoulder as Keane and I ascend the steps, a few of the castle’s patrons looking at us in curiosity before bowing quickly and scuttling away. I let Keane lead the way to his quarters, silently trying to remember the way this time, but laugh when I get lost about half-way through.
Eventually we reach the familiar dark black hall that hosts both his and Desmond’s residences. Keane pushes his door inside with a smile and holds it open for me to walk through, his hand reaching for my rear and giving it a small pinch from behind when I step into his room. I smile and feel Stormfall push off my shoulder and glide straight for the balcony, but the sight of his flight makes me stop dead in my tracks. There’s someone else in this room with us- a dark figure waiting in the darkness.
The man stands tall with his hands outstretched on the balcony ledge before him. Keane bumps into me from behind and then notices my gaze, quickly bringing his own hands around my waist before he pushes me behind him. The two of us watch as Stormfall lands gently next to the stranger, cawing when his hand reaches forward to stroke his chest. It takes a bit to see in the darkness, but the sight of four black bands etched into the man’s forearm finally comes into view.
Hirovale turns to the two of us, his golden eyes glowing in the dark of the night. I exhale softly and turn back to the door behind us, closing it gently as Keane walks into his room and lifts his fingers at his side. In an instant, all of the candles light themselves, even the fireplace.
The Ancient nods to the Prince solemnly, his lean body taking a few steps into the room. I turn away from the two of them and immediately walk over to the small table of decanters next to the fireplace.
Do you drink?I ask the Ancient silently.
“Occasionally,” Hirovale replies, his voice cool.
I nod and reach for three small, empty glasses.
“You’ve told her of your intentions,” the Ancient directs at Keane from behind, his footsteps bounding farther into the room.
“I have,” Keane replies steadily.
“And?”
I sigh and pick up the three whiskeys, then turn to the two men now standing in the middle of the room.
“And she’s right here.”
Keane gives me a small grin as Hirovale narrows his eyes on me from afar. I tilt my head to the two, motioning for them to come sit next to the fire.
“What’s going on, Hirovale?” I ask the Ancient as calmly as possible, extending my hand to Keane as he’s the first to make his way to me. He accepts the whiskey with a small warning grin, the glance all but telling me to play nice.
I smirk and watch him lean next to the fireplace, the two of us turning as we look back at Hiro.
Hirovale takes a few steps towards us, his body determined and proud but his features no longer holding that friendly and casual demeanor that typically greets us. Something about him is taut and guarded, his face looking at me curiously as he continues to walk slowly in our direction. He nods just slightly at my thoughts, alluding to something deeper, so I sigh and extend the drink in my hand, preparing myself for whatever he has to say.
