“Boss man at five o’clock. Make sure you're moving a little faster,” She attempted to warn her on the sly, but I had no problem reading her lips.
Now, the money, the chain, and the hotel room we stayed in last night made sense, along with the huge payday for me. This nigga was rich and referred to as bossman at a rooftop pool party. Now that is something to brag about instead of these nothing ass niggas I’ve met in the past. I know that telling Tania would be just like getting over the speaker and yelling it over the party, so I knew I needed to shut my mouth. The only people that could ever know that I fucked his fine ass was me, and Nina because even he couldn’t.
I didn’t have my card on me to pay, so I tried paying with Apple Pay, but every time I tapped my phone on the reader, an error came back.
“Shit, shit, it’s froze.” The bartender seemed like she was in a panic, trying to get it to work.
“Yo, Carr, it’s froze.” She got the attention of the bartender, who’d warned her about boss man coming. The girl came over trying to help in a hurry, and I watched as they struggled until a certain scent of cologne drifted up my nose that I had smelled all night under the pressure of a sexy ass thug who made me cum five times.
“Carr, why the fuck is this line not moving?”
His voice damn near busted my eardrums because it was so deep. I tried not to look at him, but Tania was behind me, pinching the hell out of my elbow because he was so close to us.
“The card reader is frozen, boss, but we're working on getting it back running.”
“Why the fuck are the systems freezing so much? Did the tech nigga not come look at them two days ago?”
“He was supposed to come, but he rescheduled to Monday. Said that he had to fly to Dubai to work on something with another client.”
“And you just let him tell you that shit and go on about his day? We have a party full of people waiting to be served, and we can’t even take the cash from them because of some janky ass card readers. Fix this shit ASAP, or you are going to be serving drinks on Fremont Street.”
I never looked towards him, but the way the bartender was looking, I could see that they were all terrified of him. When I felt him looking towards me, I still didn’t make eye contact because that would probably make me visibly weak again.
“Just take the carafes, they on me.”
“Thank you!” Tania spoke up before I even looked at him, and she stuck her hand out to shake his.”
“I don’t shake hands.”
“Understandable. Can I get your name if you don’t mind?”
“Hawk.”
“Hawk, like the Atlanta Hawks?”
“No, Hawk, like cold. Freezing.” He looked away from her and back over the bar.
“Oh, fitting.” She let him brushing her off roll off her back.
When we turned to leave, he turned around, doing a quick double take towards me. I, however, kept my head straight and walked away from him, remembering that he was supposed to be far away from me now. I wasn’t risking the money I made by entertaining a man that I was legit paid to stay away from.
Unfortunately, that one night has to stand.
Chapter 5
Hawk
It was that smell. That soft, sweet, grown woman scent drifting through the bar that made my head snap back like I got tapped on the shoulder.
Perfumes overlap, and bitches share fragrances the way they share lip gloss, so when I smell a scent that sticks out, I know it means something to me.
I can say that it wasn’t just the scent that got me. It was her body, her shape, and the way she moved through the crowd like the music was playing just for her.
All day, I’d been aggravated as hell thinking about that masked woman from last night. I didn’t know her face, didn’t even know her voice besides the short things she would say while she moaned, but my body remembered her. My mind kept running laps around the way she felt wrapped around my dick.
Never in my life had I had pussy once, and I couldn’t go right back to get it again and again until I got bored or tapped out. Unfortunately, that was the agreement I made with Nina after the threesome. She knew exactly where she had me, so she made me agree to keep things as a one night stand. Now I was regretting the shit. I need more time with the masked woman with the tight grip, and I think I just accidentally found her.
“Boss, you ready to roll?” Sergio’s voice cracked through the haze in my head, snatching me back into reality.
