“Are you ready for a whole bunch of chaos? Because I have a feeling our life is going to get a lot more chaotic.” I flash a giant smile at her as she rolls her eyes at me.
“As long as I have you, we can do anything. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.”

Epilogue ch. 1 - Blair
3 years later
The past three years have been a learning curve. Not only have we learned to adjust to three children instead of one, but I’ve also been trying to learn about my powers as they have started to finally manifest. I’ve been trying to read as much as possible in the books that I have from my mother, as well as talking to Thea.
Thea has been my rock in this process. She has her own collection and library of magical books that we have scoured through for information. Many of the books’ information states that most children start to be aware of their powers between the ages of three and five. Felicity doesn’t have the characteristics of my powers, the lavender hair and violet eyes; instead, she has the characteristics of my father, but both boys have violet eyes. Since all our children are also part demon, they could have powers that we are unaware of.
Thea says that powers like mine usually grow naturally withtime, and the more I use them, the stronger they will become. When I talk about my mother with her, she is surprised to hear someone being able to get glimpses of the future, knowing how rare it is even in her circle. I understand why my mother suppressed my powers, and I understand why she was protecting me. As a mother myself, I would do anything for my children as well.
We aren’t going to suppress any of our children’s powers and will encourage them to learn and develop them. I know that might be hard since we live on earth, but thankfully, our house is hidden and has enough land where the children can learn, grow, and develop without having to worry about neighbors or nosy people.
Unfortunately, they have to wear glamour magic when out in public, which the boys absolutely hate! They are two years old now, what do you expect? Their skin is darker and the same shade as Asmodeus, which means they definitely would stand out in this world. Thankfully, Asmodeus says the glamour will grow with them as they age and change. We won’t have to worry about them breaking or stop working. I have a suspicion that Draven will have powers since he has the same characteristics I do, but we won’t know for another couple of years.
I found another journal entry of my mothers that I had shared with Asmodeus because it was important.
It seems that the spell had worked on Blair. My only concern is how drawn the supernatural will be to her, even if she cannot see them. All the books and lessons my mother and our compound taught me explained how the paranormal are drawn to our powers and ourscent. Practically a lighthouse beacon during a foggy stormy night. I hope the spell repels them and protects her.
If I’m no longer here when she meets the one, I have left all my books and journals for her to go through that will help walk her through her magic. Since it will be repressed for however long, it might be a bit intense at first, but her body will eventually know what to do. Taking the first step is the hardest one.
Asmodeus and I never found out how or why the hellhound was on Earth. He had killed it before he could ask, but something tells me the creature wouldn’t have said either way. It was too far gone mentally. My guess is that it was attracted to my scent and magic.
When the twins were born two years ago, we made Heath the godfather of both of them. He cried when we told him. He made sure to be an active participant in our children’s lives as best as he could while he was living his own life in Indiana. I was thankful that he remained friends with me after everything that happened between us.
We texted each other regularly, and I would send him pictures of the kids. He had come to the boys’ second birthday party, but his partner stayed at home. It seemed that he wasn’t very trusting after the abuse he had gone through, which I get. It’s hard to trust strangers after something traumatic happens to you.
We have invited him to other events as well, such as birthdays, Christmas, and Thanksgiving, but he seems to be very busy with his new partner and school.
I stayed at home with the kids most of the time, and thenworked at the bakery once or twice a week for a few hours. It was my time to get away from them, and it gave them some one-on-one time with their father.
About a year ago, Asmodeus had all five of us get passports. We haven’t been anywhere yet, but I had a feeling he was going to surprise us, well, more like surprise me. I don’t think the kids really cared about visiting the world; they were too young to appreciate it.
Right before Felicity’s fourth birthday, Asmodeus had surprised me with a vacation. He had everything planned out for the five of us. He said that we would be celebrating the summer solstice this year as a family, and he was hoping we could make this one of our family traditions. He wouldn’t give me the details of where we were going, but gave me parameters for the weather. I packed all of our bags for a week-long getaway. We each packed a bag for the kids to take as carry-ons, full of games and activities to keep them entertained. Our household didn’t do the whole iPad thing.
We were flying out of Boston, meaning we had a two-hour drive before we were supposed to fly for about ten hours. When we got to the airport and to our terminal, I was shocked at where we were going. He was taking us to Sweden? I squealed in excitement. I always wanted to visit. I didn’t know he hadthatmuch money. I wasn’t going to question it. Felicity was going to be in the same row as me, while Asmodeus was going to sit with the twins. He absolutely loved those boys; they were three peas in a pod.
It was one of the longest days in a while. For being four and two, our children did really well on the plane. Before this, they never really had to sit still for long, maybe only an hour or two. Once we got into the Stockholm airport, wewent to eat immediately and then headed to the hotel.
We were going to some midsummer festivals for the next few days, celebrating summer the traditional way. It was filled with flowers, food, drink, and sunshine. We spent all our time in Gothenburg and Stockholm. Sweden was a beautiful country, and I couldn’t wait to come back. I remember when we first started dating, how Asmodeus talked about his travels the first few years he was on Earth and said that Sweden and Austria were some of his favorite places to visit. I could see why now. We celebrated Felicity’s fourth birthday while we were in Sweden. She got a flower crown to wear that day, and it truly fit her, our little demon princess.
This was my first time actually visiting another country, but also in a new environment, I took this opportunity to see if I could use my powers and test my skill level. Az took us to a couple of spots that were said to be “magical” and rich in their folklore. One of them was a very old tree, and the other was said to house fairies. At both places, I could pick up the magic vibrating through the air and see an aura around the object. I was ecstatic at the outcome.

The boys were now two. They were still breastfeeding for comfort and nutrients, and I had a feeling that they would grow up to be big boys just like their father. I usually fed them in the morning and at night before bed, and then sometimes during the day when they needed comfort. If I wasn’t home, there was breast milk in the fridge to put in their sippy cup during nap time.
Thankfully, our children got along pretty well and playedtogether nicely. They spent a lot of time outside during the warmer months, always playing in the treehouse or sand box that Az had built for the boys for their second birthday. He also added parts to the treehouse, making it more like a playground. I was worried that the boys were going to get hurt, but Az had to remind me that they were part demon, and they didn’t get hurt as easily.
Felicity was going to be starting kindergarten soon, and I was about to lose it; my baby was growing too fast. She was still quiet and observant, but she was very smart and soaked up all new information like a sponge. She really enjoyed being out in the garage with Asmodeus, watching and helping him fix and work on the cars. She was in charge of handing him the tools or holding the flashlight for him. It made my heart swell seeing them have something special together.
Draven and Belthor had a difficult time sitting still; they were always running, jumping, and getting into things. We had added some climbing equipment and mats to the entertainment room and turned it into a tiny jungle gym to play on, which really helped with their energy. I think one of their favorite things to do was roughhouse with their father, which he gladly indulged them in.
