My eyes dart away from him, too embarrassed to see his expression. “Please look at me Blair” he whispers. I glance up and see the longing and heat in his gaze. “What doyouthink of me? Because to me, that’s all that matters in this world.”What do I think of him?Why would that matter that much to him? My cheeks warm thinking about the possibilities.

I bite my lip. “Well to me you’re beautiful and one of a kind,” warmth spreads in my chest from my words. “I also may be a bit curious to know how large you areeverywhere,” I whisper under my breath, hoping he can’t hear that last bit.

“Thank you. You’re the one who is beautiful and one of a kind,” he whispers as he brushes my hair back and out of my face. “I want to be honest with you, you’re the first person on earth I have told or has known that I’m not human, beside other paranormal beings. Please don’t break my trust,” his voice strained and whispered like a plea.

“I would never do anything to break your trust, I hope wecan always be honest with each other–” My face heats, this conversation feels like it’s getting heavy. “Since you already paid the check, why don’t we get out of here and finish this conversation somewhere else?” My voice is full of emotion. He gives a grunt as he nods his head. He grabs my hand as we leave the restaurant, heading to the park that is right next to it. We walk along the river, the area lit by the street lamps, a gentle glow giving the area a romantic feel.

We stop beneath a tree along the path, away from prying eyes. Pulling my body close to his, he leans down, whispering in my ear, “soon, little one, you can explore me. You won’t be disappointed by what you find,” he growls. Grabbing a fist full of hair, he pulls my head back, sending a shockwave through my body and dampening my panties, a moan escaping my lips.

“Oh wow–” A few beats pass, “you have horns. How did I miss that?” I whisper, moving my hand to the top of his head, grabbing his left horn. I rub the base where it meets his hair. There is no hair; instead it’s rough but smooth simultaneously, how interesting. I have a firm hold on his horn while I play with it. A guttural groan escapes his lips, “Fuck Blair, I dont think you understand what you’re doing to me, the way you’re stroking my horn like that.” A primal glint in his eyes. Oh,oh.

I feel something rubbing up my thigh again. I look down to inspect what it is, surprised to see a violet appendage. What in the world now?I grab the length and follow the phallus-shaped object until it ends at the base of his spine. Oh my,Horns and a tail?As much as the tail and horns are taking me by surprise, I can’t say I’m mad or upset. His tail is very smooth, with fine hairs tickling my skin. It suddenly leavesmy hand and wraps around my wrist, removing my hand from the base. It’s prehensile as well? My face floods with warmth, the blush creeping down my neck to my chest. I’m more turned on right now than I have been in a really long time.

“It’s like you’re trying to test my patience tonight,” he grinds out, his voice gravelly and deep.

“Test your patience?” I breathily ask.

“I’m trying to be a gentleman here, yet you’re doing everything possible to get me rock hard and wanting to fuck you senseless until you can’t walk,” he said frantically. A moan escapes me. He curses in another language, one that’s not human.

I squint my eyes at him. “Are you an incubus?”

I hear him scoff. “Of course not. They are slippery fuckers.” I had to think about what other fantasy beings had tails and horns. I mean, there were dragons, demons…

“Are you a demon?! Are you going to take my soul to hell?” I started pouting because I really hoped he wasn’t.

He rolls his eyes at that. “Yes, I am a demon, and no, I’m not going to take your soul to hell. Not all demons do that. Nor is that really customary anymore, unless you’re a terrible person, then yes. But you’re not, you’re one of the sweetest and most beautiful people I have met.”

“Wait, wait, wait. So… you’re telling me that demons do actually exist?” My brain was short-circuiting from what he just said.

“Yes, exactly. Demons exist, as well as angels, dragons, shifters, witches, healers. There are paranormal beings all over the world. There aren’t many of us, but we do exist. Some hide and don’t interact with humans at all. Others maylook just like any other human out there.”

“Wow, I don’t know what to say,” I murmured, realizing that I ignored his compliment towards me.Way to go, brain.I couldn’t deny that there was something about his compliments that made me all squirmy and hot. But I couldn’t think about that right now, I needed to focus on the most important matter here, and that was the fact that he just admitted that he was a demon!

“That is a completely valid reaction to have. If you have any questions about me, demons, or the supernatural world, I’m more than happy and willing to answer them for you.” He gives me a gentle and small smile, which looked ridiculous on this giant demon.

I was a bit puzzled. “So… What kind of demon are you then?” My curiosity has skyrocketed about him. I didn’t know there were different types of demons. I feel like there was an overwhelming amount to learn beneath the surface.

His cheeks get darker again with a blush as he clears his throat, “I am a fertility demon.” Right, right, fertility demon, that makes sense. What in the fuck was a fertility demon? Sounded like an incubus to me.

I nod my head along. “What does that mean? If you don’t mind me asking,” I give him a small smile.

“No, of course not, that’s fine. It’s just–a bit awkward I guess,” he gives off a chuckle. “Well, for one thing, we all have fated mates, that one person who was meant for us. Secondly, we have special reproductive organs and fluids for our mate,” he rushes to say, barely able to catch that last bit.

I ruminate on his confession.Fated mates. Special reproductive organs. My cheeks flame over that last bit. I chuckle to myself nervously.Wow– this was A LOT to take in.

“I hate to break it to you, big guy, but you definitely sound like an incubus!” Giving him a cheesy smile, I playfully bump his arm with my hand.

He smirked at my comment, running his fingers through his hair, making his bicep bulge. “Definitely not. I ammuchbetter,” he winks playfully.

I swat at him again, rolling my eyes with a giant grin on my face. “Well seeing that I have never met an incubus, I can’t really compare. But… I’ll take your word for it.”

He chuckles at what I say. We have been standing here for god knows how long, but we are totally in our own world. “Do you have any other burning questions for me that I can answer for you?”

“How did you get on Earth? I’m assuming that you didn’t live your entire life here–” I pause, “right?”

“You’re correct in that assumption. Let’s see…” He hums as he thinks. I try to wait patiently, fidgeting with my shirt for a moment until he speaks again. “About ten years ago I was thrown out of Hell. I was given the opportunity to live on Earth, so I took it,” he shrugs.

“Do you have a family? Do demons even have families?” I feel like I was interrogating him at this point, but he told me to ask away, and that’s exactly what I was going to do. Too bad he didn’t know I could probably do this for hours, my ADHD brain needing answers and understanding.
