“Can’t tell if I enjoyed your ass bouncing or those perfect tits of yours more. Fuck, I’m a lucky bastard.”

Just then his ministrations on my clit and the deep thrusts within me sent zinging electrical shocks from my pussy to my nipples and back again. I grew lightheaded and leaned in to take a playful nip at Ridge’s pectoral muscle.

“Oh God, Ridge,” I moaned into his chest before I threw my head back and gave into the climax that took my breath away.

“That’s it, sweets, fucking milk my cock. Take it all and make us a baby, my beautiful wife.” Ridge whispered those final words into my ear as he tried to catch his own breath after he released inside me.

If ever there was a perfect time to make a baby, that had been it. Granted, our sex was a little dirty, but the way my husband revered my body beforehand still lingered in my heart and my mind. He loved me just as faithfully as I loved him and that meant everything to me. It meant, if a baby was created today, it was created in more love than should be possible between two people.

Chapter 6

Violet

My phone rang and woke me from the dead sleep I had been in. I wished that I had remembered to turn the darn thing off before we crawled in bed the night before. Unfortunately, I had no brain cells left to work with after Ridge took me twice more. Once in the shower and then again in bed. My body was completely sated, which was why Ridge was the one to roll over me and grab my phone.

“Why is my aunt calling you this early?”

I glanced down at my cell to see that it did indeed say that Ridge’s aunt was on the other end of the line. Thankfully, my husband didn’t attempt to answer it, because I knew it was Moreland. He used his mother’s phone since he stayed with them while he was in town to help me pull the party together.

“Vi?” Ridge questioned.

“Hmm?”

“Why is my aunt calling you?”

I turned my attention from the phone in my husband’s hand to his eyes. “There are these special mylar, shiny balloons I needed for the party. Nowhere had them in stock, so your aunt has been kind enough to try to help me track some down.” It wasn’t a complete lie. We had already found the balloons and paid for them to be filled and delivered on the day of the party.

“I didn’t realize she was into all the party planning stuff.”

“Well, this wasn’t the first party she helped out with. Your aunt knows a lot of people.” I chuckled because that much was entirely too true. “If Gale doesn’t know someone, then she knows someone who knows someone.”

“I guess you’re right about that. Aunt Gale was always a social butterfly.”

“Rodney doesn’t seem to mind.”

“That’s because Uncle Rodney likes to flaunt his wife in front of everyone possible. They got so much shit for being an interracial couple when they were younger that my uncle decided to stick it to the busybodies and make them eat their bigotry.”

“I love that about them. He forced the masses to not only see their love, but to have to deal with it being in their faces.”

Ridge smiled widely. “That he did. I’m proud of the way he handled the situation. A lesser man might have continued to love her in secret. Aunt Gale always deserved more than that.”

I laughed. “Aunt Gale wouldn’t have tolerated that.”

“That’s true.”

“You Westover men sure do know how to set the bar incredibly high.”

“Luckily, you’ll never have to try to find someone who can surpass it.”

I snuggled up to Ridge and took my phone from his hand. After I put it down on the bedside table once more, I wrapped my arms around him and smiled into his chest. “You have always been the best pillow.”

“Even though it’s all hard muscle?” he asked.

“Yup. The best part is that I could lay here and listen to your heartbeat all day long and never get bored. It always soothes me in a weird way.”

“Love that I can do that for you, sweets. Unfortunately, Aunt Gale tried to wake you up about two minutes before…”

His phone alarm cut him off as it started to blare the most obnoxious noise known to man. “Your alarm,” I sighed as I moved my head off my man-pillow.
