“Having sex twice doesn’t make a relationship. Or a commitment.”

While that was true… “You don’t think she’ll have an issue?”

“No,” Cam confirmed.

“Good.” A smile spread across his face. “Because I can’t wait to have sex with you, but I also don’t want to screw over Hope.” Nolan glanced over at Cam, who matched him stride for stride. “But you do want to fuck her again, right?”

“I wouldn’t say no. I also wouldn’t say no to a chance at your ass, either.”

Nolan’s feet stuttered for a second until he recovered and continued on. “Why do you assume I’m a bottom?” Did hecome off as one?

“I wasn’t assuming. I was hoping.” Cam glanced over at him. “Are you?”

They stopped in front of the cabin’s door, and while waiting for it to be unlocked, Nolan nodded and smiled. “I am.”

Cam tucked his keys into his pocket and turned to face Nolan. “Good. I was worried that might be a problem.”

“Do you ever bottom?” Nolan asked out of curiosity.

“I prefer not to,” Cam answered. “Do you ever top?”

“I will if asked.” He wasn’t against it, but it wasn’t his preference when it came to men.

Cam opened the door and tipped his head, indicating Nolan should go inside ahead of him.

“Do you know how hard it was—hell, how hardIwas—listening to you fucking Hope last night?”

“Were you jealous?”

Nolan shook his head. “No. The truth is, I wanted to join you. Both of you.”

“I wish you would’ve.” Cam’s low chuckle sent sparks flying through Nolan. Of course, they all landed in his cock. “But I’m not sure how Hope would’ve reacted to you inviting yourself into the mix.”

“That was one reason I didn’t. Add in the fact I didn’t know you were bi. If I had burst in ready for action and you weren’t, that might’ve been really awkward.”

Cam laughed as he ensured the cabin’s door was locked, then went straight to the fridge to grab two bottles of water.

Nolan accepted one and cracked the lid to down a third of it. His mouth was as dry as the Mojave Desert. It had to be nerves.

Today was completely changing the dynamics of their long friendship.

Cam leaned back against the counter and studied him. “You’re trembling.”

Damn. Busted.“I’m always worried about the first time with someone new.”Particularly when that someone is you.

“I’m not new to you.” Cam tipped the water bottle to his lips and Nolan got sucked into watching his throat work as he swallowed.

“We were friends, not lovers. That’s a huge change, Cam. A friend’s expectations are different than a lover’s.”

“I’ll give you that. Would you rather wait and go slow? If that’s what you need…”

Nolan shook his head. “I’ve known you a long time. I trust you. This isn’t your first time and it certainly isn’t mine. I think we’ll be okay.”Or at least, I hope so.

Cam set his water bottle on the counter, took two long strides over to Nolan, and pulled him close. When their eyes met, he whispered, “You expressed your concern about this ruining our friendship and I want you to be absolutely sure about this. I want you to be comfortable.”

Nolan nodded. “I’m sure. I’ve wanted this forever. I just didn’t think it would ever happen.”

“Same.” Cam released him and tipped his head toward his bedroom. “Let’s go. I can’t wait to fuck you.”
