“I get it now, Crow. I can see what’s going on. You’ve got eyes only for him. It’s natural with a new thing going on. I’ve got your back. If you lose track on this job, I’ll be there to help you get back in the game. All for one, man.”

He held out his fist, and I immediately gave it a bump with my own.

“One for all, Os. Thank you. Know that I’ll be there for you anytime you need me, too.”

Os gave me that familiar smirk and began stroking his beard again. “Fuck yeah, you owe me, Crow. You bet, I’ll collect when the time’s right.”

Worthy came back out of the bathroom freshly showered and wearing some of his new clothes. He had worn the otter sweatshirt, and it gave me another chest flutter, and this time a cock twitch, to see him wearing what I’d picked out and bought him. I needed to dress him more often in the future if this was the reaction it gave me. It felt fucking amazing, just another form of ownership.Mmmm.

“You look great, Worthy. I’m glad I got the sizes right. Now, let’s get going and get this over with.” Reaching into my left back pocket, I pulled out his wallet. “I brought you your wallet since you didn’t have it with you when you were taken.”

Worthy looked at the canvas trifold in my hands and waved it back to me.

“Can you hold onto it? I trust you to keep it for me.”

Holy shit, if the sweatshirt had given me a reaction, this gave me a full on semi, not to mention the feeling of my heart trying to leave my chest. The easy submission of all of his information and money into my care made my dominant side go crazy. I’d decided a while ago to make Worthy mine, and now, with this quick gesture, he had proven he was.

I put the wallet back into my pocket without showing any of my visceral reactions. Worthy may not have realized what he’d done, but catching Os and that annoying as fuck smirk of his, I knew he did.

Worthy went over to Os with his hand out for a shake and introduced himself, easy as you please.

“It’s so nice to meet you. I’m Worthington Winters. I can assume from Crow’s conversations with you, that you’re Osprey. He did tell me another name of yours, too, but I don’t want to be presumptuous. So tell me, which would you prefer to be called?”

Worthy sounded like he was in a boardroom meeting a new client, not in a sleazy motel about to head out and end his evil husband. He was completely unique, and I loved it.

As I watched Worthy charm and maneuver Os in the conversation, I came to a conclusion. He was a master manipulator when it came to words. In less than two minutes, Os had told Worthy his real name, where he’d grown up and where he lived now along with his current business ventures and where he wanted to take his business in the future. It was almost incredible the amount of information he was able to learn. Not even the best interrogators I’d met could get that much info so quickly. He was unbelievable.

We left the motel room a few minutes after six in the morning, dropped the key in the box outside, then made our way to the airport. Os had already called Andre, and everything was all set for our arrival and subsequent flight to San Diego. I hadn’t told him, but San Diego was my hometown, too. We were both going home today. I hated that we had to do it his way. Killing Terrance and leaving Worthy out of it would have been my first choice, but he’d been so good at hiding, I had to take this opportunity to finish this. For this to end, Worthington Winters would have to go back and face his bastard of an ex onelasttime. But this time he wouldn’t be alone.
