“Yes, she did. Thank you,” I reply, and he smiles.

“You look stunning tonight, absolutely breathtaking, Presley,” he praises, and I smile, wanting to vomit because I feel anything but pretty.

“Thank you, Master. You look dapper yourself,” I reply, and he chuckles.

“Are you flirting with me, Little Doll?” he asks, quirking a brow, and I immediately shake my head, causing him and Harrison to laugh. I look over at Axel who is staring at the two of them with murder in his eyes. I’m not sure why but I look down and wait until I’m spoken to.

The door opens and I look over at who it is and a girl a little older than me with long black hair and big green eyes walks intothe room wearing a white jumpsuit that hugs her body perfectly. She’s gorgeous.

“Sorry I’m late, Uncle. Please forgive me.” She smiles, and he scoffs.

“Don’t call me that. The Pierce name is a disgrace. How many times do I need to tell you that, Girl. I may be your uncle but I am no Pierce.”

“Whatever you say. So, what did I miss?” she asks, and Master rolls his eyes as she sits beside Axel.

“Nothing yet,” he says, snapping his fingers, and waiters start coming in with bowls of soup, placing them in front of us. “Please, eat. Then we will discuss business,” he tells us, and I lift the spoon and swirl the soup around as my stomach growls.

Scooping up the warm liquid, I bring it to my lips and moan. I can’t remember the last time I ate anything, but this is really good. It’s not long after I finish the bowl that the next course is being served. A small mixed salad with a raspberry dressing.

“Kayla, darling, after dinner is over you are going to take Presley to Enthralled for the next few days. I want you to show her the ropes. Then she will go to the Brimstone house,” Master states, and my eyes widen. I have no idea what Enthralled is but Brimstone is the place Jacob Lee took me.Fuck!

“Yes, Uncle. No problem,” she says, smiling at me. I shiver at the look she sends my way. Her eyes are filled with malice, but then she looks over at Axel and they burst with lust. My hand tightens around my fork as I dig into my salad, taking a bite.

“Harrison, you will take Axel to the cabin. Training begins tomorrow. If you both abide by the rules and succeed through your training, then you will be set free,” Master states ,but I don’t want to be let go, especially if that means I’m back in the hands of The Radleys. That’s one place I don’t want to be.

“Understood. I won’t disappoint you,” Harrison answers, and Master smiles, placing his hand over Harrison's.

“Oh, I know, My perfect Little Puppet,” he says, and I cringe. I look over at Axel and clear my throat.

“Axel, can you pass me the salt please,” I ask, and his eyes snap to mine, but he doesn’t say anything. “Please,” I ask again, and this time, he drops his fork and it clatters against the expensive china, only for him to flip me his middle finger, making Master laugh.

“This is going to be a great adventure. I’m already proud of you both,” he praises, making Axel smirk. I take a deep breath as Harrison passes me the salt.

“Thank you,” I say softly and sprinkle it on top of my salad. I sit here through the main course and dessert as Harrison, Kayla, and Master chit chat about plans they have to take down a girl named Jade and a few other people I’ve never heard of. I stare at the empty plates because if I look up at Axel one more time to find him staring at me with disgust, I might just flip the fuck out and scream at him. But I know I can’t, I just need to abide by the rules and try to get through this as best as I can.

“You are all free to go tonight. Thank you for having dinner with me. It was a pleasure. Harrison, meet me in my office before you leave.” He winks as everyone rises from their chairs. Kayla walks over to me and grabs my hand.

“We are going to be best of friends, Presley. I just know it.” She smiles as we walk out of the room. I glance over my shoulder and see Axel staring at me as I leave with a sad look in his eyes.

Goodbye, my Fallen Angel.

Chapter 20

Harley

A knock on the door has my head snapping up as Hayden walks into the office.

“Hey boss, here’s the winnings for tonight,” he states, dropping a duffel bag onto the desk.

“How much?” I ask, and he smirks.

“Sixty large,” he says, and I nod.

“Take seven and put the rest in the safe. Is Braxton still here?” He shakes his head, and I sigh. I wanted to catch him before he left.

“Nah, he dipped out about thirty minutes ago. He did good tonight,” he tells me, and I smile.

“He’s a damn good fighter. Take ten and put it in the cashier bag. I’ll cash him out,” I say, and he nods.
