“Hey,” Chad said softly, crouching down.Romeo released Chad’s arm but hovered above him.“I didn’t mean to scare you.”Chad pet Mercutio on the head.“I didn’t want you to get cold and wet.”

“What about yourself?”Romeo said.

As if a switch had been flicked, Chad looked down at his damp t-shirt and shivered.“It didn’t feel so bad when I was out there.”

Romeo hummed, unconvinced.“Back to bed.I’ll warm you up.”

“I won’t be able to sleep.”

“But you are tired...”

Chad lowered his gaze instead of replying.

“Let me relax you.”

“I don’t have the energy for—”

“Let me,” Romeo said slowly.“Relax you.I’ll take control.I’ll make you feel good. All you have to do is lay back and enjoy it.”

Chad got back to his feet.Romeo snatched up his hand and brought it to his lips.He kissed the back of it before lacing their fingers together.

“I want to take care of you.”Romeo’s eyes burned into Chad’s.“Pleaselet me.”

Romeo pulled the duvetoff the bed after stepping into the bedroom and latching the door.He tipped his head towards the mattress, signaling for Chad to lay down.

“On my back or front?”Chad asked.

“Back.”Romeo decided.“I want to see your face.”

The room was too dark for Romeo to see Chad blushing, but he knew he would be.Despite everything they’d done, sexual and otherwise, he still got embarrassed at Romeo expressing a need to see Chad’s expression.

“Wait,” Romeo said, stopping Chad with a hand to his chest, “t-shirt off first.”

Chad peeled the damp t-shirt from his skin.Romeo took it from him before he could toss it aside and hung it over the side of the wardrobe with a blatant glare.
