“There’s my angel,” Sly smiled as he flipped bacon shirtless.

I almost swallowed my tongue. The man was F-I-R-E.

“You do know it’s dangerous to fry bacon shirtless, right?”

That’s the best you have, Adelaide? Was I encouraging the hot man to cover up all of those muscles?

I was an idiot.

“I think I’ll survive.” He smiled sardonically.

“Where are the others?” I swiped a piece of bacon off the platter it was draining on.

“That’s going to cost you a kiss.” Sly looked at me with heat in his eyes.

“I have no problem paying up.” I fluttered my lashes.

Sly pulled me close, his bare chest pressed hot against me, and before I could catch a breath, his mouth claimed mine – fierce, demanding, relentless. My hands slid over the hard lines of muscle, desperate for more, anchoring myself against the heat of his skin. The kiss was all fire and hunger, my pulse racing as if I might burn up in the heat of him.

Suddenly, I was jerked away, and another set of lips took mine. This kiss was hard and consuming, leaving no room for air, no room for thought, cutting straight through me, sharp and unyielding, like he could brand me with nothing but the press of his lips.

When the kiss ended, I was in a daze, panties drenched in desire and unable to focus.

“There, that’s better. I refuse to be the only one who hasn’t kissed you at this point.” Jesse puffed out his chest, seeing the condition I was in.

Sly smirked as he helped me to a stool at the bar. “Maybe, next time, wait until she’s recovered from the kiss I gave her.”

“Please, big guy, mine topped yours by leaps and bounds.” Jesse teased as he grabbed a piece of bacon.

“Does he owe you a kiss, too?” I snarked, both of the guys just a little too pleased with themselves at my condition.

“Do I, big guy?” He puckered up and fluttered his lashes that were much longer than mine—the bastard.

“I’ll pass on the kiss, but you can pay up by helping me take apart my bed,” Sly smirked and fluttered his lashes back at Jesse.

“Your loss.” The big goof grinned.

Frosty and John entered and joined me at the bar. “Where have you been?”

John gave me a peck on the lips and thanked Sly when he slid cups of coffee in front of us. “We went to confirm our housing and sign the paperwork involved.”

“You should have woken me up. I’d have gone with you.” I took a long sip out of my cup.

“No, you needed your rest. Have you decided what you're going to do about Selene and Beatrice?” Frosty asked, leaning in to give me a quick kiss, also.

Thank the Ancestors, both men had kept it short. I’d never have survived two more passionate kisses without combusting.

“I have. It won’t be as satisfying to me as beating their asses, but I think it’ll be more devastating to Selene than anything physical I could do.”

“Color me intrigued. What does this humiliation consist of?” Jesse opened the fridge and poured a glass of juice.

I narrowed my eyes. He may not be as perfect for me as I thought.

Catching my look, he started grinning, “I already had several cups of coffee before you got up.”

Alright, I think I'll keep him.

‘Well, I’m sure I still have access to our dorm room, and chances are, with me gone, Beatrice will be sleeping over.” I couldn’t contain my smirk. “Furthermore, I just happen to knowan upperclassman who has the ability to create makeup that lasts for several months. Jasmine has used it, and her only complaint was not being able to wash it off so she could change up her look.”
