My mouth twisted as I forced down my jealousy, trying to observe the scene as a casual bystander.

The first thing I noticed was that Simon only addressed her when she initiated the conversation. He kept his hand in his pocket with his other holding his drink. He was engrossed in conversation with Gabe but was aware of the other woman when she touched him, turning his body slightly away to disengage her touch.

When she spoke to him, he would tip his ear towards her so he could hear over the music before leaning back to respond.

A small smile of relief soon replaced the glower on my face. Some of my anger and jealousy dissipated, and I felt rather silly for being insecure. It didn't matter what other women were doing around him; my focus should be on the fact that Simon only had eyes and hands for me.

"You're right." I turned to Eden, guilty that my mood briefly soured our night. "I'm being stupid, sorry."

Eden nudged my shoulder. "Hey, I get it. I was insecure as well when I started falling for Barron again."

I bristled at her words. "I'm not falling for him."

Eden rolled her lips in. "Sure." She sipped her drink while giving me a sly side-eye.

I slapped her shoulder lightly. "C'mon, Bride-to-Be. I gotta pee, and then let's do a shot!"

The rest of the night went by in a flurry of dancing, drinking, and laughter. I mixed and mingled with everyone, getting to know Barron and Eden's friends outside our own friendship group. I was ecstatic that the night Ryan and I had meticulously planned turned out to be a roaring success, with everyone continuing to stay on.

Simon and I even had a sneaky make-out session near the bathrooms when we bumped into each other. He pulled me into a dark corner, grabbing my ass to bring me in full contact with his hard front.

"Later, baby," he breathed against my neck, "gonna tear this pussy up so good."

I pressed a hard kiss to his mouth in sexual frustration, pouring my needs into the passionate act. I almost suggested we leave, but the night was still young. I couldn't abandon Eden and Barron on their big night, and I knew Simon wouldn't suggest it, either.

We had been at the club for a good few hours now. I was dancing with Ryan and Gabe, throwing our hands in the air and cheering whenever a song we loved came on.

I felt a pair of hands lightly grip my hips, causing me to stiffen. I knew on instinct that they didn't belong to Simon.

"Hey," a hot breath sounded in my ear.

I shivered.

A tall, blonde-haired man with a leering smile stared down at me. He licked his lips, making him look more predatory than sexy. I quickly moved forward, dislodging his hands.

His mouth moved, but I couldn't hear much over the music.

"What?" I shouted.

He bent down. "I said, you look sexy." I could smell the beer and cigarettes on his breath and reared back in disgust.

"Yes, she does," a deep voice answered beside me as a familiar arm wrapped around my shoulders.

Simon met the other man's look with menace as he drew me closer to him. I sunk into his embrace, placing my hand on his hard stomach.

Beer and Cigarettes held his hands up. "Sorry, didn't know she was yours."

"I'm not anyone's," I yelled, outraged.

"But that pussy is tonight," Simon growled in my ear. I shivered again, this time for an entirely different reason.

I turned to him, kissing him soundly; the other man completely forgotten.

"Wanna get outta here?" He murmured. "Barr and E are making out at the bar, and everyone else is big enough to get themselves home."

I smiled up at him stupidly, mesmerized by the need I saw in his eyes, knowing that my own mirrored his. "Yes, let's go."
