Rob growled.

"Nana," Luca said quickly, "this is Alpha Rob Colton, alpha of the Silver Lake Clan and the King Clan. Rob, this is my nana, Rose Buchanan."

Rob held out his hand. "It's very nice to meet you, Mrs. Buchanan."

"Call me Nana." She shook Rob's hand even as she glanced at Luca. "He's a little young to be alpha, isn't he?"

Rob chuckled, not sounding a bit insulted by her words, or that she'd asked Luca that question and not him. "I am rather young, ma'am, but I have a lot of people in my corner, including my mate, Casey."

Rob held out his hand until Casey walked over and took it and then drew the smaller man into his arms. "Nana, this is my Casey."

"Well, aren't you just the sweetest little thing."

Luca tucked in his lips to keep from laughing. His nana was one in a million, but her mouth was totally unfiltered. Luca adored her.

"Nana, is there anything else you can tell us about what happened when Ralph took you?" Harvey asked. "He called Randal and threatened to hurt you if he didn't kill Rob."

Nana gasped and pressed a hand to her chest.

"He wouldn't do it, Nana," Luca said. "He immediately told Rob what was going on. Randal would never hurt anyone."

"No, of course not, Luca. I just can't believe Ralph has sunk so far into his delusions that he would try and force someone to kill the alpha."

She didn't know the half of it.

"Right now, we're trying to find him," Harvey explained. "We know he's somewhere in the area. We just don't know where."

"I'm afraid I can't help you there," Nana said. "They knocked me out when they took me. I woke up in that infernal linen closet."

"Rob," Dwayne started, "some clan member came in and said his grandmother had fainted. I ordered her taken to one of the guestrooms, not a closet."

"Then how did she end up there?" Rob asked.

"I don't know. I was busy watching Casey and Erik, which is why I directed that she be taken to one of the guestrooms. I couldn't leave them."

Rob's eyebrows lifted. There was a bit of a growl to his voice when he asked, "They really left you in the linen closet? Here? In this mansion?"

Hadn't they already explained that?

"I'm getting real tired of people that don't seem to have this clan's best interests at heart coming and going, Rob." Harvey crossed his arms and leveled an intense stare at his brother. "We need to fix this before someone gets hurt."

Rob grimaced. "I'm working on it."

"Maybe if we—" Luca frowned when his cell phone rang. He pulled it out, looked at the screen, and then answered it. "Is something wrong, Trent?"

"Hey, Boss, I just wanted to call and make sure everything is okay."

"Yes, everything is fine. Why?"

"Look, it's probably none of my business and I don't mean to stick my nose in, but I was kind of concerned about all the yelling. If you need help or something..."

"Yelling? What yelling?"

"I can hear everything coming through the floor, man. It's usually not this bad, but with all the yelling going on up there, it's pretty loud."

Luca glanced at Randal. "The yelling from my apartment?"

Randal stiffened.
