When the SUV slowed and then turned into a parking garage, I glanced around, trying to figure out where we were. I caught the briefest of glimpses of a tall office building before my view was obscured by the cement walls of the underground parking garage.

Nothing had looked familiar.

"Where are we?" I asked as I glanced at the driver.

"The Silver Building."

Where?

Sergei parked the SUV in a spot close to a set of elevators and turned it off. He glanced into the backseat. "Is Andrew awake?"

See? I knew he spoke good English.

I glanced into the backseat as well. Andrew's head was still leaned back against the headrest, and his eyes were closed. I couldn't tell if he was asleep or not.

"I don't think so," Cam replied. "If he was given the same drug we were given, he might be out for awhile."

I was pretty sure he was.

I unbuckled myself and climbed over the seats to the backseat, sitting down next to Andrew. I heard another door open, but I was more concerned with checking Andrew over to look. I cupped his cheek and turned his face toward me.

"Andrew? Can you hear me?"

Andrew mumbled something before leaning toward me. I caught him right before he would have crashed into me. Andrew mumbled something again. His heavy breath blew out across my skin as he buried his face in my neck.

He started snoring.

Guess that answered the question of whether he was awake or not.

When the door on the other side of Andrew opened, I tightened my arms around the man until I saw Sergei standing there. "I think he's asleep."

The snoring was a big clue.

"I'll take him." Sergei unbuckled Andrew and started to lift him out, but Andrew waved a hand at him, trying to push him away even as he buried his face further into my neck. "Mr. Lancaster, you need to wake up. Mr. Lancaster!"

Andrew jerked and then slowly sat up. He licked his lips a couple of times as his eyes opened and he glanced around. "Where am I?"

"We're home, Mr. Lancaster."

Andrew frowned. "Sergei?"

"Da."

"What..." Andrew's eyebrows drew down farther. "Wha...I was...there was a...Dalton."

Sergei pointed.

When Andrew turned toward me, I waved. "Hi."

Andrew's eyebrows lifted quickly. "Dalton?"

"That would be me."

"How?" he asked. "I mean, you were..." The frown was back. "Weren't you?"

"I was, but you and your friends rescued me and Cam."

And Clark, too, I guessed.
