Chapter Eleven
Dan let Elijah out then made his way back to Terry. The man was just sitting there, staring off into space. He was fracturing right before Dan's eyes. Luckily, he knew of a way to keep Terry held together.
Dan grabbed Terry's hand and pulled him to his feet before tugging him toward the stairs. "Come with me."
Terry frowned. "Where are we going?"
"I'm going to get you out of your head." Dan chuckled at the confused frown that covered Terry's face. "Just trust me, baby."
"I do."
Dan certainly hoped so.
Once they reached his bedroom, Dan helped Terry off with his clothes, carefully folding them and setting them on a chair. He stripped his own clothes off, folded them, and stacked them on top of Terry's before walking over to stand in front of Terry.
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes," Terry answered instantly.
"No, I mean really trust me."
"I trust you with my life, Dan."
Dan smiled even as his heart lifted. "Then close your eyes."
Terry stared for a moment before closing his eyes.
Dan stroked a hand over Terry's cheeks before stroking them down the man's throat to his shoulders. He moved slowly, letting Terry feel the pressure from his hands wherever he touched him. He wanted Terry to know his touch, to crave it.
"Keep your eyes closed, babe."
Dan stepped back then walked over to the cabinet against the wall next to the bathroom. He pulled open one of the drawers and pulled out his favorite cream-colored loose laid, three-strand jute rope.
He walked back over to stand in front of Terry, the rope held tightly in his hands. "Have you ever heard ofKinbaku, Terry?"
"No."
"Kinbaku-biis the beauty of tight binding. You might know it asShibari."
Terry's eyes snapped open. They widened when he saw the rope in Dan's hands. "You want to tie me up?"
"Yes, I do." More than Dan thought he could verbally convey. "I think you would look beautiful in my ropes." Terry's beautiful, tanned skin would look stunning covered in ropes. "Will you let me tie you up?"
Terry's brow furrowed.
"I will be here the whole time. I won't leave you. I won't let anyone else see you. And the second you ask to be free, all I have to do is pull on one end of the rope and you will be free."
"You won't leave?" Terry asked.
"No."
Terry drew in a shaky breath. "Okay, I trust you."
Dan slid his hand around the back of Terry's head and drew him in for a kiss. "Thank you." He moved back and shook the rope out then grabbed the end. "Okay, close your eyes and stand there. Don't move. If I need you to move, I'll move you."
"Okay." Terry's eyes slid closed.
Dan waited a moment then began draping the rope around Terry's body. He went a little looser than he normally would have because this was Terry's first time. He wanted Terry to enjoy himself, to feel the safety and security offered by rope play rather than feel caught.
