“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” Gabriel apologized profusely before heading out the front door without looking back. He breathed a deep sigh of relief the moment he stepped outside.
What the hell was happening to him? Never in his life had he ever wanted rip someone’s clothes off as much as he wanted to do with Chay. He had to get back to Aldrik and find out what was happening to him.
Gabriel walked over to where his white truck was parked across the street and pulled his keys out of his pocket. He unlocked the door to his truck and almost dropped the keys as a prickling sensation ran down his spine.
Gabriel stopped dead in his tracks and slowly looked around, taking in his surroundings for anything that seemed out of place. Unfortunately everything around him was out of place. This wasn’t his home town. He had no idea what was supposed to be here and what wasn’t.
After a few moments, Gabriel got in his truck and pulled out of the parking space, heading back to the motel just outside of town. The drive to the motel seemed longer than usual. Every now and again, Gabriel would find himself thinking of the six-and-a-half-foot man with straight black hair, golden eyes, and skin so tanned it reminded him of caramel.
Gabriel grabbed the steering wheel, swerving to the left just in time to avoid careening off the side of the road. “Shit! That was close,” Gabriel admonished himself. “Get a grip on yourself, Gabriel! It’s not the first time you’ve seen a guy so gorgeous, you want to lick every inch of him.”
He had no idea what he was going to do.
“Damn it!”
