I reluctantly turn away from our omega and climb the stairs, finding all the food and water I can carry, while Angel ensures the house is secure. He even brings our phones to the linen cupboard and plugs one in.

Then, he carefully closes the nest door and locks it.

I pause, almost tripping over myself to see Wrath knotted to Casey. Our knots only appear in the presence of an omega; most alphas haven’t even seen them.

Wrath appears like he’s in an agony of ecstasy. He trembles, his tendons stand out, and he’s growling non-stop.

He clings to her, continuing to stroke, to soothe. She keens, but there’s a blissed-out smile on her face, even as she rocks against him.

“It works?”

Khaos nods. “Is everything set?”

I nod.

“We’re going to do this in order. She’s going to get more aggressive and unpredictable, and this could last a week.”

I feel weird, like shocked and alarmed, but like hell yeah, I’m on board this train and never getting off. I want to knot her, more than anything, I want to knot her.

“So, Hazard will tire her out next. Then, you, Riot, you’re up. Then Angel and I will take her while she’s at her most deadly, and we’ll continue like that until we know what we’re dealing with.”

“This isn’t war,” Angel snaps.

“No, this is biological, and I want us all to walk out of here alive at the end of this. So, consider it a battle.”

Khaos nudges me awake from my cat nap. “You’re up.”

I want to be nervous or have some nerves, but all I can think about is her. The way she’s making those pitiful little mewls.

I move onto the bed and cuddle her from behind. “Hey, baby.”

“Riot. It hurts.”

“I know, love, but I’m going to take care of that for you. But we’re going to do this my way, okay.”

“Okay.”

“Nice and slow.”

She growls.

I kiss the back of her neck. “Do you trust me?”

She nods. No hesitation, and I feel my heart stutter. I shove that aside to deal with later.

I roll her onto her back and lay between her legs, leaning over her. I kiss her face everywhere, tiny little kisses as her legs relax wider.

I pepper them over her breasts and suck gently on her nipples, watching her head tilt back and listening to her groans. Only when she’s lost in sensation do I roll my hips, slowly sinking myself inside her. She lets out the sweetest sound. I watch the pleasure on her face. I’m the luckiest fucking wolf. Everything this omega does is just perfection to me.

I withdraw just as slowly and press back in.

“Faster.”

I take her hands, pinning them beside her head. “No, not faster, slow. Trust. Remember.”

I build her up to the edge and back us off again. Over and over until she’s screaming for it. Only then do I slam into her, that strange flesh that’s risen on my cock slips inside her, and when I explode, pouring myself into her, it inflates, locking us. I’ve never feltanything like it. It feels so good I can’t see, I can’t think. Her body seizes around mine, shaking, shattering. She claws my back and reaches up to bite but finds herself held back by Khaos.

“No biting,” he snarls.
