“If that’s what you want,” he says.
“It is,” I say confidently, standing. “I’ve got to head out though. I have my first therapy session today, and I don’t want to be late.”
“Therapy?” he questions.
“Yeah, like I said. I’m gonna try to work on me for a while.”
He nods, and I walk out of his office feeling a little lighter than I did before. I smile to myself, pulling out my phone as the elevator doors close behind me.
I did it
I told him I needed some space and he agreed to give me it
Wren :
I’m proud of you! I know that was tough.
It was actually a little easier than I thought it would be
Did you know you talked to my dad and my brother at the party
Wren :
Huh? No I didn’t.
Apparently, you saw them at a bar and then they saw us dancing and figured you were you
Wren :
OMG! That was them?
What did you say
Wren :
I heard them talking about you, and I snapped. Essentially, I called them the smallest men in the entire room, but I would’ve never done it if I had known who they were.
LMAO
Thank you for protecting me
Wren :
Always! I’m really proud of you for standing up for yourself!
Me too
I’ll see you at home
Wren :
I can’t wait. Good luck in therapy I love you!
I love you too
