“Flick it to high, and scream one more time for me.”

“Sir, please!”

“Princess, you will do this for me. I want you rolling on the floor, the pleasure pulsing through your body. Who does your orgasm belong to?”

“You, Sir!”

“Give it to me now, Princess.”

She turned, flipped the vibe to its highest setting, and gasped as pain and pleasure shot through her body.

“Gabe!”

Her body shattered, hot pinpricks of pleasure rolling through her. She lay on the floor, panting.

“Good girl. You came apart for me, and I wasn’t even there. That’s my good sub. When you’re ready, get up and pick up the phone.”

She didn’t know if it was five minutes or twenty, but eventually, her heart slowed as her vision cleared and the room returned to focus.

She grabbed her phone off the holder, noticing Gabe had switched off video chat.

“Hello, Sir?”

“My sweet, beautiful Princess. That was so fucking hot. I’m proud of you.”

“Thank you, Sir.”

“Put the phone down, wash your face and hands, and get some water. I’ll wait.”

With soft pleasure humming through her veins, Ivy did as she was told.

“I’m back.”

“Good, now tuck yourself in.”

“Are you going to tell me a story?” Ivy asked as she pulled down the covers one-handed.

“This is our story, and we’re writing it.”

The confidence in his voice wrapped around her heart like a hug, giving her hope, making her believe they could be together. Ivy closed her eyes, wishing he was here with her. “I love you.”

“I love you, too, Princes. Call me whenever you wake up next.”

“Okay.” She clicked off with Gabe, set her phone on the nightstand and was asleep in minutes.

CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN - GABE

“We respect your decision,” Ares said, standing beside Xander’s chair.

“Fuck that, I don’t.” Xander shook his head at his brother, causing his long ponytail to fall over his shoulder. He glared at Gabe from across his desk. “Respect it, yes. But I don’t like it. You’re great for the team, Gabe. You keep them focused and patch them up when needed. I can’t find someone these guys will trust with their body as much as they do you.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment,” Gabe said. “Look, if your offer hadn’t come along, I was going to go for another position, and Ivy and I probably would have crashed, and I don’t know where we are going, but,” Gabe stopped and took a deep breath, “Team Stealth, the Bandit Brothers. You know they mean everything to me. So thank you.”

“You’re welcome. But I refuse your resignation. I want to call you back in when we need you.”

“Come on, Xander, let the man move on and go get his life,” Ares said.

“I’m not stopping him from moving on or living his life. I want him to know that I value him, the guys value him, and I want him to answer my calls.” Xander raised an eyebrow.
