“Yeah.” Logan pulled into Quinn’s driveway in the suburbs.

“See you around eight at Club Bandit?”

“Yep. If you go now, you’ll have a couple of hours of sleep.”

“As if I sleep,” Logan said. “See you.”

He pulled out of the driveway, trying to loosen the tension in his shoulders. Quinn was right. If he didn’t figure out if Harper was all in, her heart was going to get broken and that was the last thing he wanted to happen.

His phone flashed. He saw it was Xander and left it unanswered. Sleep sounded like the exact thing he needed.

“Logan, what’s your vote?”

Logan sent another text to Harper and flashed a grin at the men around the room. Zee, stood, leaning against the bar, his arms crossed over his chest. Gabe raised his eyebrows at him. Quinn wore the most impatient look on his face, probably wanting to get back to his wife. Logan snickered, and Nick cleaned his glasses. The other members had already cast their votes earlier in the day, and it was down to the Bandit Brothers.

“I don’t know, Zee. I want to do what’s best for you and to keep his place going. We need it in the city. But I don’t like the idea of having random people in here.”

“And I like an occasional drink while I play,” Gabe said. “If we opened it up, the bar would close or we would have to monitor the drinks and a bigger crowd.”

“Ella suggested the bar serve energy drinks, water, and snacks like it’s now for the friend nights,” Zee said.

“Can you assholes vote already?” Quinn said.

“No, for opening Club Bandit to the public,” Nick said.

“I would have thought you want new subs to torment,” Logan said.

Nick shrugged. “It’s not worth it.”

“I’m for opening Club Bandit up to the public for two weekends a month and opening for member applications once a month. When we reach, let’s say, two hundred members, close it to the public on weekends but still keep the workshops,” Quinn said. “This is a great place, Zee, but I think your vision extended to more than twenty-four of us.”

“Then we don’t have to background everyone until they apply for membership,” Gabe said.

“They do have to agree to the rules. And you’ll need more Dungeon Monitors,” Logan said.

“Yep, already accounted for,” Zee said.

“Sounds good,” Gabe said. “Everyone in?”

“Yep,” they all chorused.

“We got an urgent call from Xander,” Quinn said.

Logan snorted. “Are you going in?”

“Yes, because it’s my fuckin’ job. Like you told me months ago, stop being a pussy. Let’s go.”

Logan stared at his best friend and nodded. Sulking wasn’t his personality, and it riled him that Quinn had called him out.

“Might be my last one,” Logan said.

“You’ve said that before,” Gabe said.

“I think we all say it,” Nick said, putting his empty glass on the bar. “See you later, Zee.”

They filed out into the parking lot. “See you there,” Logan said.
