She turned to him against the doorframe of one of the guest rooms, smiling.

“I guess he left us in the middle of the night.” She reached for his hands and he put his arm around her waist, laughing softly against the column of her throat.

Logan slept like a starfish, because of course he did.

“I think we should let him sleep” Xander pressed his lips to hers and she kissed him back, his heart so light at being here with her, the morning after.

“Breakfast?”

“Great idea.” Harper stepped in front of him, and he pulled the sash of her dressing gown, sliding the gown off her shoulders.Curious what she would do, he waited, raising his eyebrow. His perfect submissive smiled at him over her shoulder as she walked downstairs.

He loved watching her walk naked through the hallway, into the kitchen, she was so damn gorgeous.

“Coffee?”“You know how I like it” He reached out and cupped the back of her neck, pressing her against the cabinets, depending his kiss as he heard her murmurs of pleasure. Damn, it pleased him so much, having her here with him.

“Your rehearsal is at four o’clock?” He took out his plain yogurt. Poured his granola mix and almonds into another bowl. Wondered who bought the box of chia muffins. Took one out of the box, and put it on a plate.

“Very nice,” Xander murmured as she fixed his coffee and handed it to him. “Take the bowl of yogurt and the spoon.” He carried over the coffee, the bowls of granola and nuts and the muffin.

At the table, Harper smiled shyly at him. “Yes, Angel?”

“You said something about kneeling at your feet every morning.”

“Delighted you remembered. It might be impractical every morning but this morning, it’s just the thing. Kneel.”

She kneeled beside him. He set the things out on the table, grabbed his phone and his tablet from the counter and then sat in his chair. As he started to read his emails, he ate his yogurt. Stroked Harper’s hair.

After a moment, he cut the muffin in quarters. Put a piece in his hand and extended his hand to Harper. “Eat.”

Her gasp of …oh her glassy eyes and flushed face, told him it was a gasp of pleasure and it warmed his tortured heart. With an effort, he focused on responding to his emails, while feeding her the muffin.

Checking his phone, he held out his palm with a bit of the granola and almonds. Beside him, Harper murmured, her breath coming out in short breaths. Xander rested his hand on her hand as he finished his coffee. He ate his yogurt and when he was almost done, he offered the spoon to Harper.

“Lick it for me, pretty sub.”

Her body lurched forward. Xander grinned.

“You’re such a good slut.”

Her eyes, big and glossy briefly met his and his hand lingered on her neck. Damn, there wasn’t a better way to start his day than this.

She made the sweetest sound, grinding against his leg, a cry, a half moan. Her sound that told him this was turning her on. He fisted his hand in her hair, about to give her his bowl. A song about being alive and loving every minute blasted from the speakers.“He needs to learn I like quiet in the morning,” Xander mumbled.

Harper giggled. “Oh, it's funny little sub?”

“Yes Sir.”

He brought her cheek against his leg, and traced her lips with her fingers, feeling her grin.

“Good morning! That is one comfortable bed, Xander.”

Xander glanced at Logan, shooting the sunshiny bastard his darkest stare.

“Oh, I interrupted did I? Maybe we need a morning schedule.”“Can you turn that off?”“I figured out how to work your sound system,” Logan grinned but tapped his phone and the music turned off.

He walked behind Harper, took her hair in his hand and pulled her head towards him. “Good morning, Kitten.”He leaned down and kissed her deeply and Harper’s hand rested on Xander’s knee.

“Mind if she comes up?”
