Tentacles reached up, guiding his hands. The tentacles were so incredibly sensitive, and for Luc, just the brush of a tentacle over the back of his hand was so deeply intimate. This was Nic’s second half, greeting him, working with him, wanting to know him the only way a tentacle could – through touch.

Turning his palm over, the same tentacle lingered over Luc’s palm. Luc fumed at the thought that other people had touched what was his. But then Nic had gone through the same thing, and whatever they’d done in the past was over. Now they could be together, and it was all because of Sage.

It was impossible to hang on to the sides of the tank and touch his mate’s body all at the same time. With all hands busy, along with their tentacles, Luc let himself go and felt Nic sink down with him, his hair blooming out behind him with the movement of the water.

It didn’t matter. Their krakens would ensure they would never drown, and Luc wanted Nic under him, over him, stretched across his body – he wanted them touching in every way. Their tentacles were pairing up – one of Luc’s with one of Nic’s.

The ones at his mouth had now moved on, caressing behind his ears, stroking down his neck, over his chest, and across his nipples. Luc’s whole body seemed to grow and flex with each touch, straining, reaching for the magic of Nic’s tentacles, and the pleasure from his hand.

Time lost all meaning. They rolled first one way and then the other – no urgency, just a sense of rightness. Two krakens finally claiming each other. And while neither beast had the room to shift completely, it was enough that they could share those most special parts of themselves. Their tentacles were so sensitive, and yet so much communication went through them as well.

Luc just wanted to be wrapped up in Nic’s tentacles and never come out. It was as if he was caught up in a cocoon where every orifice was gently probed, stimulated, and teased. He was doing the same thing. He could feel the grip of Nic’s hands as his shoulders were clasped more tightly. Yes, the urgency was increasing – slowly growing…rising…Luc could understand that too. In a lot of ways, it had been too long.

But their beasts had been patient. Their human halves had been patient. This is worth every second of the wait. As he felt Nic’s tentacles probing down his back, he spread his tentacles apart as far as he could, allowing Nic to delve in deep to yet another orifice that hadn’t been touched in decades. My gods, I need to do this with Nic, too,he thought with a thrill of pleasure, as he slowly breathed out and let Nic’s specialized mating tentacle deep inside.

Nic

Nic was in heaven. He didn’t want to think. He was just letting his instincts guide him. He had never been intimate with another kraken, obviously, but then Luc hadn’t either. Sofor both of them, it was their first time. Nic knew he’d always cherish the moment.

There was a tiny part of him that wished Sage was with them too - the man was a godsend who turned up in their lives just at the right time - but Nic wasn’t sure he could control himself during a first time, especially when he and Luc had waited for so long. He was worried, with Sage being human, that one of his tentacles might damage the man in some way.

He didn’t have to worry about that with Luc. Nic could just be himself. When Luc sucked on the end of his tentacles, Nic bowed his back, pressing harder into Luc’s body. He wanted all of the sucks, all of the touches, all of the feelings.

There was Luc’s tentacles creeping around to his nipples, tugging on buds that had never been touched by another person. Luc’s hands were solid and so damn pleasurable, tracing up and down his back. The slide of their tentacles against each other, wrapping around each other, twirling into knots, then sliding free, only to twirl and twine again. It was an entanglement of the most positive kind, and it was making Nic incredibly horny.

Still running with instincts, he felt his mating tentacle curling around Luc’s buttocks, just below that edge of human skin and kraken. And Luc opened up for him, spreading his tentacles wide, curling them around Nic’s back, curling in his hair, roaming all over his skin, allowing Nic’s mating tentacle to ease into his mate’s body – that connection so raw, so heady, so incredible that Nic wanted to cry with it. They could finally be who they truly were to each other.

Being moved by the water was relaxing and arousing all in one go. There was no pressure to be more than who they were, no sounds, no distractions, just the two of them tangled up with each other in the best possible way. Nic had no idea how muchtime had passed, but his instincts were now pushing him hard. Their tentacles had rubbed and explored, soothed and caressed every part of their bodies. Their mating tentacles were still engaged, and as they rolled one more time, Nic felt it when his kraken surged, and Luc’s did too.

Nic’s tentacles wrapped around Luc’s body like a coil, Luc’s tentacles pressing against his back as his did the same. As tightly joined as they could be, their heads breached the water. Nic bit the corner of Luc’s neck as Luc did the same to him, Nic’s teeth still embedded in Luc’s neck as they slowly sank below the water level again.

Click. Like a key fitting into a well-worn lock, Nic could feel it, that part of him that had been missing, where Luc slotted into his soul and they were joined. Licking over Luc’s flesh, Nic met Luc’s lips, kissing with a lot less passion, but one that conveyed all the love Nic held in his heart. Nic finally felt settled. He finally felt he’d found his place in the world. “Love you,” he mouthed against Luc’s lips.

“Love you too,” Luc murmured gently.

Long tentacles loosely streamed together while Nic’s arms clasped around Luc’s waist. The water movement was gentle, flowing around them, and Nic rested his head on Luc’s shoulder, just enjoying the peace.

Then he frowned as he spotted Sage through the glass on the side of the tank. Tapping Luc’s shoulder and pointing, he saw Luc’s eyes widen, and they both surfaced, swimming over to Sage’s side of the tank.

Sage was asleep – somehow sprawled out on what looked like a very uncomfortable chair. His head was resting at an awkward angle on his hand, and his glasses were askew on his face.

“Did he find our lovely claiming that boring?” Nic asked, suddenly worried.

“No, can you smell that?” Luc winked as Nic sniffed the air. “Our sweet third found his release before he fell asleep. I’d say he has been overwhelmed by a lot, including an orgasm, and his body decided sleep was a good idea.”

“He’s going to be so embarrassed if he realizes we noticed,” Nic murmured. “Some humans can be a bit weird about things like that.”

“Non-para,” Luc corrected gently. “Sage prefers non-para, but yeah, you are right, my precious mate. How about we sink back into the water and then make a lot of noise getting out? That might wake him up.”

“And if it doesn’t?” Nic didn’t like seeing Sage so uncomfortable.

“Then we’ll get dressed and carry him out to the car.” Luc grinned. “We don’t know where he lives, so it would be a perfectly considerate thing to do, taking him back to our bed so we can tuck him in, don’t you think?”

“You have the best ideas,” Nic agreed. He leaned over and brushed a quick kiss on Luc’s chin. “Thank you.”

Of course, Luc would understand what he meant. “Turns out you were right after all, my beloved mate. Although I am still glad we waited, I’m equally glad you and I had our time together tonight. Remember, you were always worth waiting for, and tonight you blew my mind, just as I always dreamed you would.”
