“It’s the number you can use to schedule an appointment,” East stated with irritation in his voice.

“This bitch is really trying it.” Joi tried not to speak loud enough for either of them to hear her, but Asako certainly had. She decided to push it a little further, throwing her arms around East’s neck.

“Thanks again. This is perfect.” She tried her best to inch closer to him but was shut down instantly when his large hands wrapped firmly around her tiny wrist, giving him the ability to push her out of his personal space. Joi was on her feet seconds later and before East could let Asako go to stop her, she was already in motion. Instead of attacking her like he assumed she would, Joi snatched the card from Asako’s hand and balled it up in her fist.

“You need an appointment, use the app or the site. I’m patient but not stupid.”

Asako looked up at East who managed to position himself between the two women with Joi at his back. When he didn’t respond, Asako smirked and shrugged.

“Interesting.” She smiled seductively at East before she stepped around him, heading to the door. “I guess I’ll just have to show up instead.”

East reached behind him, grabbing Joi at the waist and speaking at the same time. “Ask for Chuck or Dawson when you do.”

Asako didn’t say another word, she simply left the shop. She knew men like East. He was playing the faithful type around whoever that woman was, but he’d be easy to fold when she wasn’t around. She planned on testing that theory very soon. It wasn’t like she had a choice and she decided she may as well have some fun with it.

East pulled into his driveway right behind Joi, purposely blocking her vehicle. He was glad the two were in separate vehicles for the hour drive to his house because he hoped it would give her time to forget about what she had just witnessed. When they left his shop, Joi seemed cordial, but he knew for sure the scene with Asako bothered her. East was just glad the only way she spazzed was by snatching the business card versus trying to snatch the remaining hair from her head. Things could have gone a lot worse since Joi had real trust issues.

Getting out of his truck, East made it to her car just as Joi reached the rear door to her car. Instead of allowing her to open it, her body was forced against it while East used the weight of his to hold her in place. The mug holding firmly on Joi’s face caused him to smirk unintentionally.

“You don’t want me close to you?” His voice was smooth, teasing, and delivered with amusement.

“No, move please so I can get my bag.”

“You mad at me?” Joi wanted to say yes, but she was trying her best to control her emotions. East hadn’t technicallydone anything wrong.Well he cut the bitch’s hair knowing she wanted to fuck him.Joi had witnessed East doing his thing and even if it was just with Nick, it was enough for her to realize how intimate his profession could be given the client. She could only imagine what it was like with the bitch they just left.

“No, but I would like for you to move.”

East smirked again before his face inched closer to hers, but he bypassed her lips and kissed her neck instead. Right after, they brushed against her ear. “I don’t get excited about easy pussy, Joi. You never have to be concerned about a woman whose legs are always open for business.”

Delivering a soft peck to her lips, East then tugged at Joi’s waist to move her out of the way so he could get her bag, but she pushed him away in protest.

“I can get it.”

“I know you can but I’m not about to let you. Now move.” He gently pushed her to the side and she didn’t resist. Once the two were in his home, East locked up and set the alarm before heading toward his master suite. Joi rolled her eyes and followed him, entering the room just in time to see East toss her bag on the foot of his bed then pull his shirt over his head. Her eyes lit up at the sight of his body because it was surely inspirational.

“Do you have a lot of female clients?” Joi’s left brow raised slightly when East offered her a half-smile.

“What do you consider a lot, because it seems to me like one is too many in your opinion.”

He was in the process of kicking off his shoes, so by the time he answered, it was over his shoulder during his journey to the bathroom.

Joi briefly rolled her eyes to the ceiling before following the path he took. When she reached the bathroom, she stood in the door watching as he made his first stop at the shower to turn on the water before he stepped into the separate space to use thebathroom. When she had eyes on him again, his briefs were in his hand and no longer on his body. Joi’s eyes began to explore while East headed straight for the shower.

“One is too many, but it’s your job, so I’m cool on that.” Joi shrugged, seemingly unbothered, but she wasn’t. It was hard to experience a man like East and consider anyone else having the same privilege. Even if it was something as simple as them being allowed to be in his personal space. Joi wasn’t thrilled about sharing him in any way whatsoever, but she also knew that was her issue, not his.

East chuckled at her response. He was a smart man and good at reading people. Joi was jealous about what she had experienced and the possibility of those who might come in the future.

“Come in here with me.”

“I can wait until you’re?—"

“Joi, bring your stubborn, jealous ass in here with me. I need to holla at you about something anyway.”

She rolled her eyes but began to undress. It didn’t require much convincing because she wanted to be close to him. The second she stepped into the glass enclosure, East made that her reality, forcing her body against his. She smiled when his large hands held her in place.

“Well?”
