“We need to figure out how to get home,” Carlos observed.

“That might be easier if we knew where the hell we are.”

“I didn't forget you guys,” Harry said right after she flashed in.“I just wanted to get Ben home so that he could take care of himself. That seemed like the most important thing at the moment.”

“You were absolutely right. Now we need to go home so you can eat, and we can plan our next step to take out these guys. It's my opinion that they're just going to continue to get worse, and it won't be long before someone dies at their hands.”Cally explained.

That's exactly what they did, and they all ate a solid meal and discussed what they should do next. The only thing that would work is if they went out and completed the list that Ben had started. To make it more likely they would attack, Cally would work with Harry, and Carlos would keep an eye on them by parking nearby. She really didn't think it was necessary, but she knew that he would want to be involved.

Chapter 9

A Job Well Done

It was a good thingthey were working on some of the locations, so Ben’s list didn't fall behind. They were also setting up the perfect target because these guys were not only racist, but they also had poor opinions of women. The funny thing was that no matter how many times women beat them at their own game, it didn't change that opinion. That just showed that these guys had no common sense. They believed what they believed, and the facts weren't going to change it.

This was why the guys running this whole thing had hired them. They targeted people who were easy to influence and didn't think things through. All of them were followers, and this group didn’t seem to have a brain cell between them. She and Harry arrived at the location, and everything seemed alright, but that didn't mean a thing.Locations that seemed fine before, but the bad guys had been hidden, just waiting to jump out and say gotcha.

Cally went first, and she hoped that if they were there, they would just see a young lady who could be easily overwhelmed. This location turned out to be all right, and they got the work done quickly and moved on.The next location was alright as well, and they also got it done quickly and moved on.She noticed that Harry was really good at this work.It was no wonder that Ben had minded working with her. He'd been around her enough that he didn't mind her being a witch either, because he knew that normally that would give him some protection. This last time, they had gotten around it, but that wasn't going to happen again.

That's saying that the third time is the charm, which turned out to be true this time. The door opened, and she was flooded with bad guys.Apparently, they had decided that all it would take was a large group of them to overwhelm anyone coming to work at the location. Now she was dealing with a herd of frogs.

“Good job, Harry.Maybe that'll teach them a lesson. These guys are pretty stubborn, so I don't know if it will.I'll go get the cage, and we can round them up.”

“It looks like we caught over a dozen frogs. You think they are all the ones I changed?”Harry asked.

“Real frogs usually hang out by water, and I didn't see any water around there anywhere.Doesn't matter anyway because we must take them in so you can change them, and then we'll see what we have.”

“I can't wait, but shouldn't we finish the job here?”Harry asked.

That’s what they did, and it went quickly. They found the owner locked in the bedroom, and he wanted the security installed now more than ever. When they were done, Harry flashed the frogs to Cage, and then they went to the next location and got things going there. They were done by lunch, and they met Carlos at a small local Tex-Mex place. It was good, and now they were set for the next location.Harry was strong because she had eaten the three meals, and that was alright because Cally kept her in top shape.

After lunch, they did three more places without incident. The incident occurred as they arrived at the office and were attacked. These guys were stupid because with the office staff and the extra security, they were one-on-one, and they wiped the floor with them.Maybe this would finally bring an end to what was going on here. They could see they had no hope of taking out the business, let alone any of the field crews or the office. No matter how stupid they were, surely, they realized that this just wasn't going to happen.

Harry stayed another day, but things were quiet. They did a good job and completed five locations, more than anyone else. The problem was that her friendly witch was just too busy to waste time when nothing was going on.What she felt bad about was that these guys had probably moved on to another location that they thought wasn't as strong.Tyne would still have the headache even if they didn't.She could only hope that they would reach a point where the business was strong enough for them to help Tyne if he needed it.
